My son is loving this for HS marching band

This is my second time purchasing this neck strap, and I absolutely love it. The quality is excellent, very durable, and comfortable around the neck even during long use. The first one held up so well that I didn’t hesitate to buy it again. Definitely a reliable product, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a sturdy and comfortable neck strap.

Very comfortable! I bought this for marching band. It lasted the whole season and I still use it for concert band. Very good quality!

Used on a tenor sax, and seems a bit short. At times it could use another 2" in strap length. Fairly comfortable. Has an elastic quality in the fully extended condition. Decent support around the neck/shoulders. And it could be a bit wider., as the picture makes it look larger than it is. The neoprene cushion is only 14 1/2 " long, and 2 3/8" wide. (~37cm x 6 cm ). For a basic neckstrap, it’s good and offers decent support. I’d recommend it more for an Alto sax, but it works ok with a tenor. And the clip is decent, but a bit awkward. Hard to find the button for a quick-change or to get on/off. Yet stays on and doesn’t interfere with any keys. Won’t come off accidentally. Price is right, and might be a good solution for some people.

Neotech gets 5 stars, Amazon gets 0 stars. I contacted the manufacturer because I was unable to return this strap after it fell apart in 2 weeks of use. The manufacturer said amazon sold be a old strap they stopped selling in 2017 with bad neoprene. They are sending me a replacement. I will update on the quality of the new strap.

My daughter originally tried the Neotech "Classic" saxophone strap (https://smile.amazon.com/Neotech-Classic-Swivel-Saxophone-2001172/dp/B000P4FL64/) purchased from a local band retailer but the stitching around the perimeter ended up rubbing raw spots into the skin above her collar bones to the point of skin loss and superficial ulcerations on both sides. We switched her to this strap and the problem was solved. No more rubbing. No more raw spots. No more pain. She noticed an immediate difference even before the raw spots created by the classic version had healed. This version, in our experience, has been the most comfortable option for marching band. Highly recommend this version over the classic for any marching band players. Static sitting players may not find rubbing to be an issue with the classic but it certainly was when marching. This version may not sound as fancy without the "laminated construction of neoprene layers, nylon reinforcement and comfort foam" that the classic has but it is definitely more comfortable when marching.

Was recommended to my 13 yo son by someone who has played the sax for a long time. My son said it definitely makes a difference in distributing the weight against his neck.
