Well I have had this for a month and it works perfectly. There was a week when it stopped working for a couple of days and I contacted customer support through the app. They were very attentive and, although the unit began working on its own, they were right there ready to help. Everything is as advertised. If you want to keep track of your vehicle it gives you a detailed map of where it’s been, including addresses. Suspect a cheating spouse, a teen going places they shouldn’t or driving too fast? This is the solution. (I will add the disclaimer that you should always adhere to legal rules and laws regarding the use of this item). With it installed in the OBD port it would be a rare thing for anyone unschooled in mechanics to notice. In fact, unless someone is specifically going to use the OBD port, the item would most likely go unnoticed even by a mechanic. The monthly $10 fee for basic service is worth it. That’s less than 35 cents a day! There is a battery monitoring feature and the unit goes to sleep when parked for a long time. So I do not see it draining the vehicle battery, and if it does, the unit will warn you before the battery ever goes dead. Easy plug and play install, the app is also easy to use once you get used to the various controls on the screens. I highly recommend this. If things change in the next few months, I will add to this review. I have had this unit installed for over 2 months now and it is working incredibly well. Do you want to track your vehicle, this is the tool. The detailed information it provides, including street view of the area the vehicle was parked is like having your own personal private investigator, only much cheaper.

Easy to plug-in easy to set up gives very accurate data. Sent my son‘s car down to college and there was worried about somebody stealing it but also about mechanical issues and making sure he was staying safe driving. This tiny little device is amazing. You can set up all kinds of alerts and even geo fencing. Also, there is notifications if somebody unplugged it. All around absolutely worth the money.

I've had Verizons Hum for yrs in different cars & for the biggest part it worked great for yrs & was very reliable but this past yr i started having issues like lagging & such so when they announced it was being shut down I wasn't too surprised then I found this gem the Bouncie. I just got it a day or so ago. I set up my account to activate it very simple & not alot of info to put in to qualify my car (it was already programmed in legally) so it all matched up car wise & i followed the directions. The monthly subscription is very low & lower than the Hum. It has features that Hum never had. It has some of the same catagories but different set up if that makes sense. Its even nicer than the Hum. Came really quick. Packaged & shipped safely. Order it you'll be glad you did. Even if you've never had one this is a good thing to have for your vehicle. The diagnostics are acurate & a mechanical must have. Great tracker if a family member is alone & you need to be sure theyre safe. Its got the coolest items on it that you need. It let's you know when your vehicle is parked & where & when youre traveling how long you idle & when its not idling anymore. You set up Push Notifications for alerts. Just a cool acurate device. I ordered it b4 the Hum was scheduled to be shut off yesterday New Yrs Eve & set mine up during that day & got it in my car b4 Hum was turned off. I'm SO SO SO glad I did. Ty Bouncie & Amazon. I've been using the Bouncie device and service for a few months now for my vehicle rental service. Previously, I had been using a different brand device and service that was also well rated, so I have something to compare it to. I've got to say that I am extremely impressed with so many aspects of Bouncie, and the improvements I see with making the switch. Most importantly, it gives real-time access to the vehicle location, moment-by-moment, but also so much more - vehicle health, driving habits, idling time, etc. The interface is years ahead of what I was using previously - both on the App and on a browser. Both are easy to navigate and intuitive, with clear, easy-to-read graphics and text. The only improvement that I can want for is a more accurate read on total miles driven. It seems to undercount the miles driven, particularly noticeable on long drives. This can be easily updated later in the App when the vehicle returns and I can confirm mileage, but it is something I need to keep track of. Overall, I'd say this is a very valuable tool at a reasonable unit price and subscription cost.

I would like to share my experience with the Bouncie device. Overall, I appreciate the design of the unit; it has a nice shape and was fairly easy to install. During the first day, everything worked smoothly, and I was impressed with how well it tracked and provided a clear overview of my daughter's location. She is aware of the device and understands it is there for safety reasons, especially given her sporty car. In case of an emergency, I hope to be able to locate her quickly. Additionally, I use it to set service reminders to help stay on top of vehicle maintenance. However, on the second day, the device began acting unexpectedly and stopped tracking the car. Since I was driving at the time, I know my daughter wasn’t responsible for the issue. I contacted Amazon for a refund and received a replacement unit the next day. I initially thought removing the defective device from my account and adding the new one would be complicated, but I was pleasantly surprised by how simple it actually was. I reached out through the web chat, and within about five minutes, my new unit was activated and the faulty one was removed. The only step remaining is to send the old unit back to Amazon. I am hopeful that the new device will be more reliable moving forward. I know electronics can have issues and I'm not calling out Bouncie at all. I'm happy with their product and customer service thus far. I'm sure the defective one was just a fluke. The $9.95 monthly subscription fee feels worthwhile to me, as it provides peace of mind knowing my daughter and her car are secured.

Easy to setup and install. Great device, especially for teens or older drivers! So much information provided in real time. Vehicle codes provide accurate timely diagnostics for repair shops to start their investigations. Anomalies in trips (ie, excessive speed) are detailed as well. Well worth the cost. Best device we’ve purchased.

first i want to start by saying I have 3 teenagers, two are new drivers, one was involved in an accident, we live in Maine and there are no streetlights, it is dark up here, there was a car pulled over with no hazard lights and the man was standing in the travel lane by his drivers door, my daughter's car mirror hit his arm going at 50mph, pretty scary, the mirror broke and crashed the window but no damage to his car, long story short he started yelling at her, she still had her paper license and the actual one had not come in the mail, no citations were given meaning no loss of license, she was hysterical thinking she could of killed him and him yelling at her did not help (he was hurt and angry I totally understand what he was going through), she called me and could not give me her location, it was a nightmare I have LIFE360 on the kids phones but she refuses to use it, my other child left his phone in the car and I could track her that way. this BOUNCIE device is a life saver, I placed it in the car, she has no idea, my car my rules right! well enough said. I am buying another one now that I see what it can do. You can also go under notifications and get SMS messages, so many features. this GPS locator works really well! when I first placed it in my car the time was off and it did not show up on the app took several short trips on/off. I was expecting a 10minute drive would automaticly show up on the app but that was not the case for me. the time was off on the trip, I unplugged while in the off position then pluged back in and it was reset. A few days later my daughter went to work and I could see her driving with a small lag time, it shows the speed during the route under the "trips", the address where she is parked and the time she left the house and arrived at her job. it also has "trips" to review each time you go somewhere, the car's health, you can set a reminder for your oil change, tells you the battery health, engine health, and you can add multiple devices on the same app. I had a question about the time being off so I contacted the help center (chat with us) and got help immediately, he was very nice and helped me. I felt the support was quick and helpful, I would attach a picture but again my daughter has no idea it is installed, it plugs into the OBD port and it is not visible unless you know what you are looking for. simple the only thing you have to do is put the app on your phone and set the app up before you plug the device in because you will need the number on the device for set up. Overall, I would suggest this device to any parent who has a teenager learning to drive or a new driver, you never know how they will react when they get into an accident and with new drivers accidents will happen. I am very happy with Bouncie! Update: I was able to remove the vehicle information and remove the vehicle connected to the Bouncie device IMEI number (car was transferred) and connected to another vehicle replacing it. Going back and fourth I would not recommend but you can transfer the device to a different vehicle if needed. I was very happy and I just purchased my third Bouncie device.

I don't usually go out of my way to leave reviews unless something is really bad or really good. In this case I have purchased 2 of these GPS trackers for both my kids cars and they have been incredibly helpful to have and gives me peace of mind. My kids sometimes drive home late from work, or take longer trips, and this way I know they reach there destination safely, or if there is a problem like a flat tire, I know where they can be located. They are very accurate and work fine 99% of the time. Super easy to install just plug and play, and then track using their app. Its easy to switch between the 2 cars in the app. Its also great for keeping tabs on when servicing is due as it tracks mileage. Yes it costs a few dollars per month but for me its a cheap way for peace of mind!! and Kudos to the app makers as many apps are terrible but this one is pretty good.

We bought this because of driving concerns with a family member who is showing dementia; there was an incident where our loved one went for a drive, got lost and It took more than 20 hours for them to find their way home. We needed something to provide peace of mind, ideally alerts and a last know location. Bouncie provides all of that REALLY, REALLY well. The setup was easy. We did have some trouble activating the device (it was registered to another account, so possibly a return?) but the customer service chat representative fixed the problem in a few minutes. No other problems and the OBD device was super simple to install. The monthly price, information it provides and ease of the platform are all excellent. We only wish it would provide more text/call options for those late night alerts. We linked Bouncie to IFTTT as well to help visually alerts us by blinking our lights in case we don’t have our phones nearby by - but a call or text would be helpful. We would also love to see Apple Watch integration. Overall, it does everything it say - and it does it excellently and intuitively. Highly recommend for a bunch of reasons and for a bunch of applications - but especially if you’re concerned about a loved one getting lost or confused while driving.

Je l’ai installé moi-même et je suis une femme de 52 ans. Ça m’a pris 2 minutes. Vraiment très précis et on peut voir la vitesse à laquelle on roule. On peut sélectionner des couleurs pour le niveau de vitesse. Par exemple, je peux voir facilement si mon fils à dépassé la vitesse sur l’autoroute s’il va plus de 120km et sur quelle portion de l’autoroute. Aussi, nous avons reçu un avertissement sur l’application lorsque le Check Engin s’est allumé dans l’auto. On peut tout consigner dans l’application, tel que notre prochain changement d’huile à 50 km. Pour environ 11$ par mois, sans frais d’activation et on peut annuler n’importe quand, c’est vraiment un super tracker

Vraiment très satisfaite de cet achat. J'ai acheté ce GPS pour la sécurité de mon fils. Si jamais il arrive quelque chose nous saurons à quel endroit il est. Je demeure au Québec et j'ai souscrit à l'abonnement mensuel sans problème et facilement en activant le Bouncie via l'appli mobile. Installation facile. Sur le site, on insrit la marque de son véhicule et ça indique, avec photos, où brancher le Bouncie. Autant sur l'application mobile que sur le Web, il est facile et très précis de suivre le véhicule. On peut suivre non seulement l'emplacement mais la vitesse à laquelle va le véhicule, les minutes d'inactivité, les freinages brusques et si il y a impact. Nous pouvons, entre autre, également avoir un apperçu de l'état de la batterie du véhicule et le pourcentage d'essence qu'il y a dans la voiture. Il est facile d'activer les notifications pour recevoir les alertes de notre choix (Mise en marche du véhicul-Début du trajet/fin du trajet/alerte de vitesse/de freinage brusque etc) Vous ne serez plus inquiets si vos ado oublient de vous appeler pour vous dire qu'ils partent du travail pour rentrer à la maison ou qu'ils sont bien arrivés à bon port. Pour ma part, ce n'est pas pour faire de la surveillance mais puisque nous habitons en campagne, que les conditions routières ne sont pas toujours favorables dans notre coin et qu'il a beaucoup de route à faire, c'est rassurant. J'ai également acheté un ''spliter'' pour pouvoir laisser la prise libre pour le mécanicien lorsque je ferai faire la maintenance du véhicule. Je le recommande à 100%.
