Bought to replace the top of my standup desk.. Too bad there was an 2 inch scrape on the laminate edge, exposing the particle board underneath. Better attention to keeping the product safe during packaging and shipping would go a long way to get good postings. The edge has a plastic overwrap to protect it and was easily removed. The powdered wax on the surface used to reduce scarring during shipping was also easy to polish out. I plan to keep the top, and use a BLACK MARKER to cover up the exposed particle board. Of course, the exposed seam of the continuous plastic edge was on the opposite undamaged side, and would show if I placed the top with the damage away from the user. It's more of a Luck-of-the-Draw getting a perfect top of that size and weight delivered without any damage.
