Perfect - brand new, put the new one on and it works like new.

I've had this replacement hose on my Dyson for over 5 years so far and it works and fits perfectly. It was an easy and affordable way to get more life out of my machine which is currently 16-17 years old and still going strong.

Fits as original. Took a few weeks to settle in and works flawlessly now.

I've had a DC14 for close to 20 years now. The hose finally got brittle enough that it split. That prevented the wand from working. I found this hose and within 5 min of delivery the vacuum was back to perfect working order. The install was super easy. The metal part of the wand did take a little effort to slide into the new hose but that was it. NOTE: My DC14 hose ends were yellow and this one is grey but it fits 100%.

I bought a cheaper one that did not fit the DC 14 at all. Pay a few more dollars for this one. It fit perfect and the installation was a snap. Just like new.

I liked how sturdy it is…every bit as sturdy as the original Dyson part. Unfortunately, it must be a slightly narrower diameter because the tube doesn’t slide inside as easily.

Hose arrived on time, was a perfect fit, and seemed like quality was the same as original that has lasted over 10 years.

The hose was very easy to install but that's where it ended. Getting the wand to push all the way down was incredibly difficult. My wife couldn't even do it. It took me several minutes to get the wand all the way down and that included having to get my work gloves on in order to be able to apply the pressure needed to seat it all the way down. I tried several times and watched videos to make sure I was doing it right. I know, crazy, right? I just didn't want to give up and return and start the search over. Unfortunately, Dyson no longer makes the part. Back to start my search all over again! Maybe the one you get won't have this same problem. I even reached out to the seller before returning it and that said to just return it, it must be a manufacturer issue.
