These are a must for 3d printed projects. No issues inserting with proper heat tool. So far they have held well in my projects.

Great quality brass inserts if you need a specific type of rest insert only. They have good knurling which helps it to stay in bedded inside of the plastic you are melting it in. Overall this is an excellent value. Highly recommend this product

This is a good method of attaching and securing screws to a 3D printed item. Designing a cavity to captivate a nut works but because the nut is only approx 1D thickness it has a tendency to spin. The insert has a bigger dia and longer depth of thread. Only down side you need a "soldering" iron to heat the parent material.

These brass inserts are well made and have clean, consistent threads. They install easily with heat and hold firmly in plastic parts. The knurled design provides good grip and prevents spinning once installed. A solid choice for 3D printing and DIY projects that need strong threaded connections.

I'm trying to make my home electronics projects more professional and one such way is making my project boxes easier to reopen/close. These allow the use of small bolts rather than tapping screws directly into 3d printed plastic. Installation is easy. Print leaving a slightly narrower hole. put nut on end of bolt (to hold, orientate and keep molten plastic out of the threads), heat it with a soldering iron and move into place. Simple to do and make a secure fit.
