Replacement of Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan Remote Control UC7078T with Up Down Light, L3H2010FANHD Fan-HD Fan-HD6, White

The house I bought had one of these for the living room and it broke from one of my dogs. So I ordered another and works great. It's easy to figure and already programmed to function when batteries are put in. Very affordable replacement. I never had issues with the one before but obviously dogs can break anything if left in the wrong place. I buy it again if this one needs to be replaced again.

This remote was for a fan that the remote would pick and choose when the light would turn on or off and dim. The set up of this remote allows you to have one button for on/off and one to brighten/dim. The location of the switches on the fan was very difficult to get to in an attempt to double check it was not a DIP switch issue. The remote was easy to match up and works great.

The old Craftmade remotes turned gosh awful yellow - although they still worked, they were just ugly. These look nice and perform nearly all the same functions. the only quirk i have is my fans have upper and lower lights - the remote works - just backward. the uplight switch turns on the down light and vise versa. I'll get used to it until i get up on a ladder and swap the light wires in the fan. These have the 4-dip switch so i just set the dips the same as the old removes and it worked perfectly. I didnt have to go up into the fans. 3 fans, 3 new remotes.

Didn't work with my ceiling fan.

This remote is used for a fan light with lights on the top and bottom. The original Hampton Bay control's light switch is combined in one button, and required excessive pressure to turn the lights on/off. This remote is perfect because it has a button for each light allowing you the choice to turn on only the upper or down light. In addition, it works with dimmer LED lights.

The remote was an excellent replacement for the broken when we had for many years all features work as intended.

I put off ordering this remote because I was afraid that it would be hard to program. I was so wrong! U just make sure that the 4 prong setting is just like old remote & that’s it! Works like a brand new fan again! I’m so happy!

Perfect. Put 9 voltage in it and it worked. Love the ease of it.

Worked as a perfect replacement. Ordered two. One of the units the coding was different then the original it replaced. What made it easy for me was going through the binary combinations. If you have difficulty I'd recommend you go through the binary combos it will find the right code is not a perfect match.

Works as expected. Be aware that you might need to fiddle with the pins inside the device to get the right frequency. It's not difficult and only needs to be done once.

No issues with our fan since we got it.
