It's best to turn off all lights, so great to use when sleeping or leaving the home. I had already sprayed the floors with raid, used 2 bug bombs and used flea busters powder, and then I got these 2 traps. Immediately within a few hours of setup I got 4 fleas captured in them. I done even have pets, I got the fleas from walking through some grass where dogs often frequent. That's how easy an infestation occurs. My ankles and behind knees are very badly bitten. But since the traps, I haven't seen a single flea around. I do recommend using OTHER methods along with the traps. Never rely on just 1 method. They're very sticky, so be careful not to accidently touch with clothing lol. Easy to assemble too
