Very easy to cut and stretch for paintings. Just the right thickness to be flexible and strong. Very good value for the price!

This is a huge piece of canvas. Nice thick weight. Wrinkles come out very easy. Color is nice. Perfect for bag making.

I cut this to size for what I needed and primed it with gesso. I’ve scraped it once because I didn’t like what I had done. Reapplied some gesso and painted again. The canvas took it like a champ. I’m very new to oils and have no idea what I’m doing. The canvas can take my beginner abuse. I kept a smaller piece to try some embroidery on. I wanted to see if this would be a good substitute for what I have been using. I will have to update once I try it. I see no reason it won’t work though. I may end up washing and bleaching it first so I have a brighter canvas to work on. It’s a good value though and I recommend it.

This canvas has no smell!!!! Sorry to sound so excited, but it’s not always the case that canvas has no smell when bought online. I have one yard by 72" and it's a lot of canvas! It seems very high quality for the current price of around $17. I intend to use this to replace the center of one of those cot style dog beds. My dogs love them but as a puppy, one of the dogs chewed a large hole into the center of the cot. It is so thick, it might put a strain on my sewing machine. I can tell it will last though. I also don’t need to be an artist to say, that this is a fantastic canvas for painting. I own many old (before 1900) oil paintings as my point of reference.
