This is a heavy duty looking switch. I needed one to bypass the tractors computer as the replacement of that was ridiculous. I chose this as one way will ignite the glow plugs and the other way will activate the starter. It’s the perfect solution as the computer controlled that with the key before it quit working. This functions as it should and installing it is simple. The switch is sealed in epoxy resin so water can’t get in it, but still try to locate it in a safe spot.

If you look up IEC 53 RVV wire (or ask your favorite AI chat bot) - the wire is not suitable for outdoor/exposed locations. In fact it specifically says only dry or damp locations. Where the wire goes into the housing there is no strain relief or bushing or any sort - just the edge of the plastic housing - with a gap as well which can let water in. The switch is molded into the housing. So there is no way to inspect the condition of the switch. In various parts of the product description it lists the current rating as either 20amps or 30amps. So it is confusing as to what the actual current rating is.

Very nice switch, great for the power dump on my UTV. Also waterproof and quality feel, could be used on marine applications I think.
