NEEWER BASICS SL90C Full RGB LED Camera Video Light with Desk Tripod Stand

I’m neither an influencer nor a photographer, but man, do I feel like one when I turn this light on! It gives me great control over the lighting, and it’s portable and easy to carry. The only thing to keep in mind is that it’s definitely not discreet. When you pull it out, be prepared to get a few looks! But honestly, who cares when the photos turn out this good? Whenever I use this light, I’m impressed with the results.

Luce RGB compatta, facile da montare direttamente sulla fotocamera o su un piccolo treppiede. Il fissaggio magnetico è comodo e permette di posizionarla velocemente anche su superfici metalliche. La modalità boost arriva fino a 45W e produce parecchia luce considerando le dimensioni. Va bene sia come luce principale a distanza ravvicinata che come riempimento o luce colorata sullo sfondo. La temperatura colore regolabile da 2500K a 10000K copre praticamente ogni situazione, dalla luce molto calda a quella fredda. I colori risultano naturali e non ho notato dominanti particolari. Le modalità RGB e le scene integrate sono divertenti da usare per video, streaming o piccoli effetti. Non sono indispensabili, ma ampliano parecchio le possibilità rispetto a un normale pannello bicolore. La batteria da 5000 mAh ha una buona durata, anche se usando spesso il boost chiaramente si scarica più velocemente. È molto compatta e si porta facilmente insieme alla fotocamera, senza aggiungere troppo peso all’attrezzatura.

Very good and strong light. So many colors to adjust

Neewer call this light one of their Basics range...but I think it is anything but basic. The light is quite compact, bigger than a usual sized light that may fit on a camera but considerably smaller than a typical video light panel. It is also relatively chunky / thick to house the in built fan system. The casing is surrounded by vents to keep it as cool as possible. There is a diffuser included in the package which I have permanently attached. Made of silicone it protects the body as well as calming the very strong light which is emitted from the device. The light is so bright at full power it can illuminate an entire room. Much brighter than other lights of this size I have seen. Operation is straight forward, although the LCD screen text is a little on the small side for my liking. Buttons and a wheel control all the functions and after a few goes you will get used to where to go for what effect you want to create. The light also comes with a mounting attachment which screws in easily to the 1/4" thread hole. The attachment has 1/4" and cold shoe attachments so it can be placed on a tripod or camera as you prefer. Walking around in the evening light with this on a camera I could get some fantastic exposures which felt very different from flash photography. It is very versatile in that it can be used for general lighting, portraits, special effects, video and photo work and all in a small package smaller than your hand. At last I think I have found the happy mix between a lighting panel and one of those small on camera lights that never seem to give out enough illumination. This is small but packs a punch on the illumination front, you will probably need to turn it down in many situations Considering it does so much it is a good value option and worth spending a little extra to get an all in one solution such as this. I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND this light.
