It basically does as it says on the tin. Can use the network port, HDMI and USB ports simultaneously. No issues when using it. It does get rather hot when using it for more than 10-15 minutes, but i haven't had any issues with using it for hours at a time either! The cable can be a little tight to put back its little cable holder mount and then to get back out can be a little nightmare, especially in a rush, but that doesn't affect its usability, just takes a couple extra seconds to get out - or if you are in the middle of a DataCentre where its rather hot and your hands are a little sweaty, definitely can take a minute to get out. I have it in my bag at all times and its taken a beating from being dropped and dragged around and its still working 3 years later!

Only four start cause ethernet is not working, I tried a few different ethernet cables and a different ports on my router, all cables and ports work with other devices but not with this one, and yes I enabled ethernet in my phone settings. Also I tried to connect it to my parents TV and it didn't work, no picture on the TV. Worked fine with my 23 inch monitor at home. Maybe it needs more power to run big screen TV or maybe Samsung system updates blocked it, not sure, I'll check next week when I'm back home. My phone is Samsung galaxy s10

Nice build quality and lighter than I expected, the ability to use this with my Galexy Book opens up the use of a second display, ethernet, card reader and extra usb ports for plugging in external hard drives or mouse while also allowing me to charge the device using the usb-c power delivery pass through port. The real benefit though is that this device also allows all that function on my S9+ while charging my phone (if I connect power to the device) allowing me to use my phone as a small computer or test networks without pulling out my laptop!

Very well designed, solid build and slick piece of kit. Spent quite bit time of time researching USB adaptor for my Macbook Air 2020 (lockdown is fun, right?) and this was right balance of value and design. Has all the important hubs but its also easy and durable to store or travel with. The hook and tuck away USB is a nice touch. Would definitely recommend and excellent speedy delivery

I have used this hub everyday for the last 4 months and it has worked perfectly with my Macbook Pro running macOS. Several USB hubs that I have used before would disconnect the attached devices (very bad for a hard drive) when stressed or under heavy load. This one has been rock solid. I have knocked 1 star from the rating because the reliability is less good when I boot the Macbook into Windows 10. Under Windows, often the network adaptor is not recognised if the machine is powered up with the USB hub attached. Removing the hub and reattaching it will allow Windows to find the network. Unfortunately, my Windows installation is on an external hard drive, so in order to be able to detach and reattach the hub, the hard drive cannot be plugged into the hub and a separate adaptor is needed (luckily my Macbook has more than 1 USB-C port). This problem does not occur under macOS. The stiff and short cable makes it hard to place the hub behind the laptop and still allows easy access to the various ports. I have had to buy a separate USB-C extension cable. So, an excellent hub but be prepared to buy a couple of additional accessories depending on your set up. Update: A couple of serious problems have become apparent after several more months' use and therefore 2 more stars removed: 1) If you charge your laptop through the hub and also use the ethernet port, beware that if you turn off the laptop without disconnecting the power to the hub, the hub will generate a broadcast storm on your network. The network storm has the ability to shutdown other devices on the network. I have come home to a dead Raspberry Pi many times because of this. The same thing would happen if you remove the hub from the laptop while leaving the hub connected to a USB-C charger. Now I have to remember to disconnect the USB charger and/or the ethernet cable when the hub is not in use. 2) It interferes with the laptop's charging. Apple recently introduced a battery health management system in their macOS update. If the laptop runs mainly on AC power, the battery health management causes the battery to discharge to around 86% once a day before charging it back up. This works well when the charger is directly connected to the laptop's USB-C port. However, if the laptop is charged via the USB-C hub, the daily discharge still occurs but charging does not resume when the battery level is dropped to 86%. So as not to wear out the battery unnecessarily, I haven't found out how far the battery will discharge before it will charge up again. Update 2: I may be a bit hasty in saying that the usb hub interferes with the charging. Since writing the last update I have resumed charging through the hub and the battery health management seems to be working.

This adaptor does look the part and is very useful when you only have 2nr thunderport3 outlets. However, I would expect something like this, especially given it has been sat on my desk and plugged into a MacAir 99 percent of the time. Which I might add, has only been taken out of the MacBook roughly 10 times for meetings, has now stop charging my MacAir. Everything else works, but what good is an adaptor you can't charge off. One for the BIN....... and I would recommend looking elsewhere for something which can stand the test of time. One big disappointment....

I brought this about 3 years ago, all because I wanted a travel dock that with a way to secure the cable. its travelled to a dozen different countries, been used on 2 different Macbooks,1 Lenovo Notebook and 2 different phones - doesn't matter if I need video output, USB-A or Network.. The thing just works. I've often thought wondered if I should by a second one for back up in case they stop manufacturing them If you need a travel dock, don't waste your money spending £100, give this a try first..

Looks well made straight out of the box, nice & lightweight too. Don't currently have any use for the memory card slots but obviously handy to have, it was the USB 3.0, HDMI & Ethernet ports that I needed. Only niggle I have is the input cable, it's a tidy idea having it secured into the side of the hub but it can be awkward removing it to use & a little rigid twisting the input cable into the Laptop ports.

Produit de très bonne qualité. Coque en métal de très bonne facture. Fonctionne parfaitement bien avec mon microsoft Surface book 2. Utilisation du Hdmi de mon surface 4k vers un écran externe 4k aucun soucis. Pas de lag. Clés usb fonctionnel en même temps avec les même performance que si je l'avais brancher sur l'ordi. Ça va me permettre de n'avoir du coup qu'un seul accessoire au lieu de plusieurs dans mon sac. Taille compacte.

Lo he comprado para para el Mac del trabajo, ya que tengo otro adaptador, pero me estaba fallando y ya estaba dudando de si era cosa del puerto o del adaptador. Por suerte, era del adaptador, ya que este Hub me ha funcionado a la perfección. La sujeción al USB-C es muy buena, y no da la sensación de quedar suelto (como sé me ha pasado con otros adaptadores). He enchufado un HDMI y lo reconoce a la primera, sin parpadeos ni nada del estilo (es una TV 1080p). Los puertos USB funcionan a la perfección, tengo 2 para el teclado y el ratón y en el otro otro HUB USB donde enchufo dos teléfonos móviles y cargar perfectamente. El tamaño es correcto para la cantidad de puerto que tiene y se nota robusto y fiable en todo momento. Muy contento con la compra, me ha salvado en estos tiempos de teletrabajo.

Ho acquistato questo adattatore multi presa perchè ho bisogno di ricaricare il pc e contemporaneamente collegarlo al cavo di rete ethernet (il mio pc è sprovvisto di porta ethernet). Questo adattatore che si collega al PC attraverso una porta USB tipo C da la possibilità di collegare contemporaneamente un cavo di rete ethernet e il caricabatterie del notebook attraverso una porta USB tipo C. E' inoltre provvisto di 3 porte USB, 1porta HDMI, e due slot per schede di memoria. Questa multi presa è bella da vedere e compatta con il cavetto, che va collegato al pc, che chiudendolo si integra perfettamente nel profilo del dispositivo. Speriamo sia anche durevole. 16 Marzo 2021: Purtroppo devo integrare la mia recensione dicendo che dopo circa 5 mesi di utilizzo l'adattatore non funziona più. Ho chiesto ad Amazon cosa si può fare, molto gentilmente mi hanno detto che l'articolo non può essere sostituito con uno nuovo perchè non è venduto direttamente da Amazon, ma posso fare il reso.

Fait très bien le boulot pour une taille plutôt compacte (un peu plus petit qu'un smartphone standard). Plutot qualitatif, l'ensemble parait solide et la connectique à l'air fiable. Il se glisse facilepent dans une sacoche pour lavoir en permanence avec son ordinateur. Jenleve une etoile car quand jai branché en même temps un RJ45 + 1 ecran en HDMI + le recepteur de mon kit clavier souris sans fil, alors la souris saccadait et le clavier loupait des frappes, j'ai du mettre le récepteur en direct sur le pc. Ca reste un très bon achat pour 40 euros. Je recommande.
