But they were completely unfounded. It was easy to install on my hook & worked like a charm!First, the orientation (yes, there is a right & wrong way for it to go on) should be that the larger part of the shield is on top (see video). If you have it the other way, it won't work.Second, it took me 10 seconds to get it on. I threaded the hook through it and with no more trouble than putting on socks, was able to get the silicone around the top of the dough hook.Third, I used it in a 5qt bowl with 500g flour (+ liquids & yeast) to make a loaf and it did it's job great! I had to pull down the dough a couple of times, but the dough *never* went over the shield!
