Spot on for warmth and privacy
At last our Transit has the bit of privacy it has been crying out for. I slid Hicover’s screen over the front of the MK8 on a blustery Tuesday evening and, honestly, it was less faff than clipping the kids into their seats. The elastic corners stretch just enough, those big Velcro pads find the door frame first time, and the whole job takes about fifty seconds if you are not chasing a runaway dog at the same moment. The cover itself feels sturdier than it looks. There is a three layer foil and bubble lining on the inside that knocks the early morning nip right on the head, yet it also keeps the midday glare at bay when we park on the seafront for chips. Outside, a blackout fabric stops any lamp post from turning the cab into a makeshift lantern, so the youngsters stay spark out until a respectable hour. I am fond of the little window flap. When you unzip it, you can see who is rattling the gate without lifting the whole thing off, and it sits flush so it does not drum in the Scottish wind. After a fortnight of salt spray and rain, the PU coating still beads water, and the paintwork beneath is unmarked. If your Transit falls anywhere between 2015 and 2025, I would say this cover is money well spent. Warmth, privacy, barely any setup time, plus it rolls into a pouch that disappears behind the passenger seat. A rare case of kit that does exactly what the advert promised.

Reliable Thermal Windscreen Cover
I’m very pleased with this Screen Cab Cover Blinds designed for Ford Transit 2015–2025 campervans. It fits perfectly on my Transit MK8 and MK9, thanks to the custom design that sits flat against the bodywork and stays secure with the special fastening system. The premium 8 mm multi‑layer insulation does a great job of preventing condensation, frost in winter, and heat buildup in summer, helping to maintain a comfortable interior temperature year‑round. It also doubles as a blackout blind, giving excellent privacy and blocking out unwanted light. The windscreen opening lets in light without removing the whole cover, which is really convenient. The quality feels excellent, and it even comes with a carry bag for easy storage when not in use. Overall, this thermal screen cover is a great investment if you want better insulation, comfort, and privacy for your campervan.

Good thermal cover that fits well
I got this external thermal silver screen cover for my Ford Transit campervan and it fits the windscreen area well. It’s easy to put on and remove, and once fitted it stays in place properly. The silver screen does a good job of reflecting heat and helps keep the van cooler in warmer weather, while also adding some insulation in colder conditions. The material feels decent and suitable for regular campervan use. It folds down reasonably well for storage, although it does take up a bit of space when packed away. Securing it takes a little practice the first time, but after that it’s straightforward. Overall, it’s a practical and useful accessory for campervan and motorhome use, especially if you want better temperature control and added privacy when parked.

Ok ish 🤔
Not the best quality. Certainly not a black out screen. Fits ok ish. Can’t really comment on insulation properties not used it in anger yet But I did get it at an introductory price of around £25 I would be unhappy if I’d paid more. So we’ll see how it lasts

easy to use
Got this windshield cover for my Ford Transit and it fits perfectly. Installation is quick and simple, and it stays in place even with wind. It does a great job keeping ice and snow off the windshield, which saves a lot of scraping in the morning. The material feels durable and easy to fold for storage. Overall, a practical and useful accessory for winter.

Great fit and cosy mornings
Fitted this screen cover to the Transit last weekend and immediately kicked myself for putting it off. It sits on the MK8 windscreen and door glass as though the van came out of the factory wearing it, no sagging or wrinkling anywhere. The outer skin is a tough, weatherproof fabric with a shiny silver face that bounces the sun straight back where it came from, while the insulated middle layer stops the early-spring nip getting in. On the inside, the blackout lining turns the cab into a little den, ideal for a lazy Saturday lie-in on site. The pop-on, pop-off straps slip over the doors, so no one is walking off with it unless they take the doors as well. Since fitting it, condensation has more or less disappeared and the dash no longer feels like it has been frying itself on the Costas. A mate even reckoned the van now looks ready for some undercover night run. Stitching is neat, the material feels robust, and its thermal performance easily keeps pace with covers that cost a fair bit more. All in all, a cracking bit of kit for warmth, privacy and a decent kip.

Warmer nights and no condensation
I picked up this thermal screen cover just before our trip in the Transit. With four of us and the dog bedding down inside, privacy and a bit of extra warmth are priceless. The cover uses two layers of polyester with reflective aluminium faces. It slides over the mirrors, tucks under the doors and seals every gap. On the MK8 and MK9 windscreen it meets the pillars perfectly and sits completely flush, so no slivers of dawn light sneak through. Fitting it is a breeze. Open the door, pop the flaps inside, close the door, done, all in well under a minute with no wrestling. Once in place the cab is pitch-black; the twins did not stir until eight o’clock and the teenager managed a late-night film without the glare from the street outside. Condensation all but vanished and the diesel heater barely stirred. When it is time to leave, the cover folds neatly into its pouch and disappears under the seat. The stitching feels solid, the fit is snug and the whole thing weighs next to nothing. An extra hour’s sleep and no morning window-wiping make this a sensible purchase.
