Any older kids or adults wouldn't think much of the graphics but for a child they are just fine and the games are just the right amount of "play fun". The unit is advertised to have 240 games and it has that many. However many of them are very similar in how you play them with just a slight change in the graphics. As advertised the games are of the old 8-bit games. If you're old enough to remember the original Atari home game console you'll be familiar with how these games look and play, just on a smaller 2.5" screen. Quality-wise the machine appears to be made well. The seams in the plastic are all aligned with no gaps. The joystick and buttons work great and if taken care of will likely last for a long time. Value-wise compared to similar 8-bit machines this one is priced significantly less. One unit that is obviously the exact same product just branded differently, costs 30% more than this machine. So overall I'd say the value is excellent. The only thing I don't like about this machine is the battery compartment door. It has a typical "snap-close" and with a tiny screw that locks everything down. This screw is so tiny that you have to use a very, very small jewelers screw driver to loosen it. If you don't have a small enough screw driver you are stuck with no way to open the compartment.
