This review is for the G4Free BareFeel Golf skirt. I ordered this in Dusky Purple. My usual size in pants is a Large or Extra Large, depending on the fit. I have a few other things from this brand, and I find the sizing on their skirts, shorts, and pants to be inconsistent. According to the online sizing chart, the XXL would be too small for my measurements. However, I have their posted sizing information was incorrect the last two times I ordered bottoms so I decided to order a large. The large fits perfectly. There is a lot of stretch in the fabric since it's 19% elastane, so sizing is forgiving. The fabric is high quality- this is excellent workout wear. And it's easy care- machine wash and dry, though I hang mine to dry. I really like this skirt and enjoy having it to wear when walking. The skirt is very comfortable to wear. There are multiple pockets to hold my phone and keys, and there are mesh shorts underneath. The 15" length is comfortable and a good length- not too long, not too short. While I like the dusky purple, I would not order it again, because I have nothing but black and white to wear with it. At $29.99, the price is a fair one for the excellent quality of this skirt. Highly recommended.

Love.Love.Love. I’m so happy G4Free has come out with some fun colors this season! This Rusty Orange is super fun, cute and checks all my boxes. I play golf but seldom wear this type of skort on the course. For me, this is more casual wear for running errands, lounging or just want to feel cute. Paired with an athletic top or cropped tee and cute sandals — you are good to go! I chose my normal size small. For reference I am 5’ tall at 122lbs. My measurements are 34DD/27”W/36”H. I’m almost always a US4. I found the G4Free skirt to fit comfortable. The wide waistband is a dream, no digging in at all which makes for all day comfort. The interior shorts are equally as impressive, no complaints at all. Also equipped with two side exterior pockets + one hidden interior for balls or other needs. Overall another fabulous fit from G4Free. Beautiful workmanship executed with comfort in mind for us — wash in cool temps and tumble low or hang dry and with appropriate care, you have a quality piece that lasts.

I've been wearing the skort on repeat. So comfortable, buttery soft, VERY flattering, and POCKETS on the outside, not in the inner short like other brands. Length is perfect and the skirt fully covers the shorts. I was in between measurements so I bought a medium. Wish I had purchased a small, but this still works. If I had purchased the right size, it may have been compressive but can't speak to that. I would say if you're between sizes, go with the smaller size. I've washed several times and it is holding up really well. No pilling. I may need to buy it in other sizes!

I give this skirt 4 stars, because it is great quality but it is really tricky to get a workout skirt perfect. This skirt is functional, comfortable, stylish, rides up only minimally, and I love that it has pockets both inside, on the compression side, and on the outside, skirt side. That is perfect for pickle ball and tennis (which is how I use this skirt). The color is more of a bubble gum pink versus a hot pink, which is the color of the running quarter zip from this brand. The con, which I think is worthy of a star removal, is that the top layer of the skirt is too tight on the compression underlayer… which means, if you want compression, it looks too tight as a skirt and becomes unflattering. You can see/it highlights every bump. This can’t be fixed just by sizing up, because you lose the compression of the under layer. If you are really fit (and/or didn’t just have two kids), this is probably a perfect skirt cut for you. Also, it might be fixed just by getting a darker color. For reference, I am 5’5”, 152 lbs, and got a medium.
