These work great! Buying these have cut down on the work required to care for the stock tank.

Not as great as they advertise. Did not work at all in my horse trough and help somewhat in my fish pond. Not sure they last that long for the price

After more than two months of use, the water in the tank is still so clear. The water tank has many compartments, a protective outer shell, and the internal carbon dioxide is not easily broken, reducing the frequency of water changes. I used to change the water once a week, but now it's every two or three weeks. The clear water is pleasing to the eye, but brown algae have started to appear after prolonged use.

Don’t try this it doesn’t work….
Returning this, doesn’t work like it should, I ordered 2 , I tried one and don’t work at all!!!

Worth the money.
I have these in all my troughs. They saved me so much scrubbing this summer. They are most effective the first 4-6 weeks of use and then algae starts to grow more rapidly. I am experimenting leaving them in the sun a few days to “recharge”. I may also try soaking them in an extremely mild bleach solution. If neither of these options work, I will buy them through the summer. They don’t break or fall apart and the savings in labor alone is worth it. I love seeing clear water in the dead of summer.
