Barcelona Map (National Geographic Destination City Map)

Like all such maps, it's can't cover the entire metropolitan area... It would be nice if it would cover the Tibidabo area better and the approaches towards BCN (Llobregat and Casteldefells). Other than that, it covers most of the downtown areas... cut off the Barceloneta and the port (WTH where they thinking?). But for a compact enough map that you can fold in half and put it in your pocket, and using Google Maps in your phone, it works very well. We used it two years ago and just got an updated map for our next trip next month... !! The subway map is always welcomed.

Nice map to have while traveling throughout Barcelona, Spain. I used this map a lot during my visit to Barcelona this year. Came in handy.

This map was easy to use and nicely detailed. It had lots of named streets and points of interest that the free tourist map (sponsored by McDonald's!) did not. This would include the little one block long streets in the Old Town. It might not be the best map for use if you live in Barcelona because it does emphasize the things travelers are interested in and does not include the further reaches of the city.

I really like these NatGeo Destination City Maps. I've used them a lot in a lot of different places, and they've always worked out really well. They are very tough and won't tear, a bit of rain doesn't freak them out, and the scale is just about perfect for walk-around touring. The little sketches of various points of interest make them easy to find, as well as being very helpful in staying oriented. Frankly, if there;s one of this series maps available I won't go without it.

Easy to read. The map is plastic coated, so it is actually very durable and will hold up to the abuses of traveling with it and using it. Very good!

My hotel near the Maternity Hospital and several parks north of Diagonal were off the map. I was hoping for metro travel help. This only helps if you are in the main city. Our address is Barcelona, but not on the map. We are at the Grand Hyatt, which is new ownership so I wanted confirmation too. Nice map if you are traveling downtown.

Great buy for travelling to Barcelona. Good for a gift or personal use. Good to have it to study before going abroad or using it while in Barcelona.

I used this before we went to Barcelona to orientate myself to the area we would be staying in, and also to get around.

The map is compact in size 18” x 24” which surprised me but then I realized it is much easier to maneuver. One side of the map is a street map of the central part of Barcelona which not only gives street names, but also highlights points-of-interest and subway stations. Once you identify what sights you want to see on the map, you can plan your route and use the Metro subway system or walk. The flip side of the map shows a reduced map of the various Metro lines and routes. There is also a street index and cross-reference. Finally there is a small regional map, which shows the surroundings as well as where Barcelona Airport is in relation to central Barcelona. Additional information is provided regarding buses, taxis and tipping and other touristy notes. The map is great value for the cost. Enjoy your vacation!!!

Good map, print small but that be my eyesight. I wanted it for locations of major tourist sites and best way to walk around the city. Did exactly what I wanted. Tough paper, withstood being folded and refolded.

Nice clear map with a coating so it didn’t fall apart when it got wet.

We had trouble finding a decent map of Barcelona while planning a trip there. Most we too small in both size and scale leaving them difficult to read and not very useful. This map meets our needs. Thank you Amazon.
