I have long, thick, y/wavy hair, it is past the middle of my back. The wrap I have now will not stay on my head, I have too much hair. Will this work?

I'm a white girl with thick hair to my shoulder blades. This works great for me. I learned reL quick not to twist it more than twice. I had it on for hours with no problem. It does stay better if you leave it over your ears some.

Tag says 95% cotton and 5% rayon.

Are these really refurbished like it says they are in the "About this item" section?

I'll be honest and say I totally missed that part until coming back to look at the item. I've bought three separate times and they have all been in new packaging and unopened.

Is this as good as the hair repear towel?

I don't know what the hair repear towel is but this is good if you just need something to hold your hair up and not catch frizz. This is the same as wrapping your hair in a t-shirt. I love mine.
