Easy to use. Best bang for your buck
Control unit has a rotary dial to adjust intensity, with three button function easier to use digital than models. Battery life is good can get at least two days out of it,at 100% function before a recharge is necessary. Unit will function for a good six days but not at maximum intensities. Range is close to 150 yards. Have tried others on Amazon this in my opinion is best unit in its price range. PS also nylon collar with quick disconnect is a plus over plastic collars with the buckle on the others. Gives you the ability to adjust the collar once and then just snap it on and off of your pet. I do not leave the collar on my dog all day. Just put it on when we go outside

Absolutely a great pet trainer product
bought a older model 4 years ago for my dog it still works but decided to upgrade to latest product Petrainer PET619A in which is even better, color wise and functionality, this is a company I trust with a product I trust, as when I have my German Shepard off leach I trust the collar will get his distracted behavior back, 90% of time the simple sound is enough to change his behavior, if it doesn't the vibrate feature will, I have used the shock button once very low so after vibration he knows he'll get shocked, so it is a great progressive tool to use with no harm to your pet. Thank you for the great product at a great price.

Great product but didn't last.
Product worked great for 2 GSPs for a little under 6 months. The remote was easy to use and very simple. The collar/receiver feels well built and has performed as expected. Unfortunately, the remote stopped working and would not charge very suddenly. We can't use either collar now making this useless.

great price, small design - WORKS
The prices and sizes of these radio collars have really shrunk which is a great thing. This one works very well. My criticisms are limited: just know the range is less than 2 small city blocks and line-of-sight only. Test it out by having someone walking away and buzzing or vibrating it every few steps to find out how far it signals. I didn't test the shock part on myself by with my stubborn dog he can ignore it for a few seconds even at 100% - maybe that needs a "Rotweiller" or "St Bernard" setting :). There is no "safety" area around the shock button and can easily be triggered by clothing or other objects in your pocket - be careful so you don't shock inadvertantly. The housing could have a raised bulge around the shock button to minimize accidentally depressing the button. It works great - our dog now returns (reluctantly) when called and doesn't automatically run out of the house or away from the car when you open a door. Some might think this is "cruel" but having your pet run over or lost for days is far worse - think of it as tough love. Hints: don't use it to punish your dog and I would recommend to not put more than one command on it i.e. whether you want your dog to return to you, leave a pile of manure alone, or not run up on another person, just use the universal command of "come".

Stopped working after 3 weeks, will not charge or turn on any more
Stopped working for no reason right after the return window closed for this. Don't know what's wrong with it. Worked ok to stop barking but died too fast

Works. Or, would, if my dog were not such a dope.
Very nicely engineered, great quality, nicely made, even water resistant. I like this much. It works perfectly, even quit far away. Three corrections (beep, buzzer, shock) so you rarely have to use the shock (maybe never). No battery changing -- it charges from USB or the included charger (which cleverly includes a Y-cable to charge both the collar and the remote at once) -- and a charge lasts a loooong time. "Bark collars" are only as good as the device's ability to detect a bark and miss false alarms. I tried two and they kinda work. And this product category is loaded with fake reviews (really, how do they generate 2000?) so hard to tell the ones that work best (if any of them do)? Anyway, I can be the AI in this -- and so, this product uses a remote and a human trigger. Much better. My stubborn Corgi definitely got it, with just a buzz and stopped the barking. But only when the collar is on. Without the collar, he barks a -lot- less, so some victory. But that's a review of my lovable little dope, not of the collar. The collar works perfectly.

Ok, but not for me
I loved and hate this product. I loved it because it has tremendously helped with my dogs barking, even without having used the shock feature. The high vibration mode is great for her. I buzz her for poor behavior and barking and she stops whatever she is doing and comes to me. Awesome right!.... The reason I hate it. 1. You have to have the remote on you at all times. You can't correct behavior if you're in the kitchen and she's in the dining room (with the remote), barking at the birds outside. 2. If you keep the remote on you at "all" times, then you run the risk of accidentally shocking your fur-baby as I have, because the remote was in my pocket and I bent down to harness her to go out and my body pressure pressed the shock button. I almost cried because she was freaking out and I didn't know why. I removed the collar for good after the 3rd mishap. The range on item is not as advertised; it's barely 3 feet. It's past the return date, so oh well. I need a remote that is sensor activated, with a remote. That would be the dream. It works but I can't recommend because of the reasons above. Too inconvenient and too much room for error.

It really works
We started having a problem with our dog barking at other dogs and people when he was walking. He would bark non stop. We thought we would try this, only on the sound and vibrate. It is amazing. He no longer barks and it only took a few times on vibrate. then a few more times just the sound. It has snapped him out of his barking and he is back to his friendly self!
