Wireless Driveway Alarm - Motion Sensor Door Chime Motion Detector

Just what I was looking for! I wanted something that would let me know when my dog and cat used the doggy door and this sensor is perfect for that. Easy installation, no issues linking it with the base. I was afraid it might be too loud, but happily the volume control offers a wide range. I opted for a single chime, and it makes me smile every time I hear it. Don’t know yet about the battery life, but so far I’m very pleased with my purchase.

I manage a boarding home with 12 clients living there. Im in my office all day & i wanted a way to know when someone comes upstairs. This was a cheap & perfect solution. I just wanted the sensor to light up the doorbell & the motion sensor lighting up red when it sensed motion was the worst idea so being a nerd i opened then both up immediately, got out the soldering iron & disabled the audio part of the doorbell & deleted the two tiny red leds off the PIR sensors circuit board & then i had my perfect silent motion alarm for damn near free!

works great. plenty loud... even offers a "bark sound" ...perfect as I use it to note if my dogs go into the pee pad room. Very happy

I really love this motion-activated alarm. I use it in my office, and it gives me instant peace of mind knowing when someone is coming in. The different tone options and adjustable volume settings are great, and the light-up feature is a nice bonus—though not something I personally need. Setup was incredibly easy, which I appreciated. My only complaint is that the adhesive included with the sensor doesn’t hold for long, so you may want to use your own mounting tape. Overall, it’s been a reliable and reassuring addition to my workspace.

I'm disappointed... The info they have in their listing here is wrong. My mailbox is in direct line of sight to my front door, and it is literally only 80 feet away, and this does NOT work. It DOES work well at a MUCH closer distance, though, but sadly falsifying info just to get people to buy them. I bought a second one right away, too, lol. I'm sure the seller won't care, though. (Below is/was my first impression, but sadly, I was wrong!) This is so cool!!! I installed mine earlier today, and it is awesome!!! Such a great idea and a product that works!!! Hopefully they will last a while because I'm using it in my mailbox, and I'm sure it can get pretty warm inside!!! NICE quality and lots of options for the notification sounds, and the light ring is a nice visual effect if you don't want the sound effect!!! And if you DO choose one of the sounds, it's definitely loud enough!!! Lol. Well worth the money!!! : )

I have two dogs and two cats and bought this motion detector so I’d know when one of them went downstairs to my finished basement. It works perfectly. I had to put it close to the ground to be sure it reacted to them. (It sees me too.). The two-sided tape doesn’t hold it to the baseboard (probably because one of my cats would swat at it) and I didn’t want to put holes there so used some better quality tape. It plays a little tune in my kitchen when it’s activated. So far, so good. Definitely recommend this.

My brilliant kid bought me this for my birthday this year after we both got tired of me being startled out of my wits whenever someone walked into my office. My back faces the door, and I usually wear headphones while working, so before this little device, the only way to get my attention was to scare me half to death. Now, it plugs in near the doorway, and the alert box sits on my desk facing me. Whenever someone walks in, it gently blinks a rainbow of colors to let me know I have company. Truly the best invention for work-from-homers!
