The rule is solid and accurate, and the accessories turn it in to a very useful tool indeed. Highly recommended.

A simple idea which is half of what is needed for all manner of jobs - you also need a folding rule. Wolf say it is compatible with standard folding rules, but as I was looking to replace an ancient folding rule, the Wolf version, at a decent price, seemed the sensible option. With a rule the marking gauge can be set up for any distance in theory, but in practice there is a limit to how much extended rule can be accurately used to draw a line, a distance you will work out for yourself. The gauge can also be used as a fulcrum using the extended rule to mark out a radius or full circle. To be fair none of this is revolutionary, other tools and techniques do the job, and it is a job that is not an everyday task for most people, but for the price it is a useful addition to the toolbox, taking up little space and is always there, quick and easy to use with little setting up required when needed

Great piece of kit BUT standard folding rulers may be too wide to fit the tool luckily I had an older folding ruler that did fit.

Feedback update. I have now planed down a strip of wood to suit. As long as the folding rule you own is no wider than 16.5mm, you're on to a winner. The item is quite well made, but the slot for the folding rule is too narrow. I shall have to plane down a strip of wood to suit. Of course, I shouldn't have to do this, but as not overly expensive I am prepared to set it up to work as intended. Very basic design flaw. Bit like making a sturdy wallet just too small for credit cards.

Fajny gadżet, ale do mojej miarki kompozytowej Milwaukee trochę nie pasuje (miarka jest II klasy dokładności). Miarka ta jest węższa, przez co końcówka do ołówka nie wchodzi ciasno i lekko lata. Pewnie gdybym miał standardową drewnianą miarkę (III klasy dokładności) albo Wolfcrata to może by stabilnie by siedziała. Do precyzyjnego trasowania raczej się nie nada.
