It really is worth measuring your dog. I bought an XXXs for my 2.5kg terrier pup who is 7 inches around the neck and 12 inches around the chest at the moment and the harness was true to size and fits him perfectly. When in a crate in the car my puppy cried and took ages to settle, on the back seat in the harness lying on his blanket there wasn't a peep! We have used it going out walking as well, so good all around harness. Great customer service as I received an email from the suppliers asking if everything was ok with the harness made me feel if there had been as problem with sizing etc. I could have got it resolved quickly without any fuss.

The harness is great. My dog lurches and tries to climb the centre armrest. The only thing is the lead seatbelt that clips onto the harness is too long, so I tied a couple of knots in it. then plugged it in. My dog is now not a risk and can sit comfortably.

I bought the medium size harness for my 22kg Staffordshire Bullterrier who’s quite a healthy shape and it fitted and adjusted easily. This harness I mainly use for walks and barely use the seatbelt anchor, although when I do it does as it should. I found it easily washable and fairly robust, however my dog does have a thing for licking his harness after a walk and managed to rip the stitching. However he has done this to most of his leads and I really should hang them up out of his reach. Anyway I’ve ordered another one anyway. Stay safe.

I struggled to find a reasonably priced harness for my greyhound because of her shape but also because she has had an op on her neck and collars rub the scarred area. There's not much control on a long, nervous dog with the lead partway down their back as on most harnesses. This excellent harness sorts all these problems perfectly. It's attractive and soft against her chest but sits below her neck. It's built really strongly and her lead can be clipped behind her neck for more control. There's the added bonus of a car belt. It was obvious how to put it on and its not fiddly so it's quick. Add in the very reasonable price and choice of colours and I can't speak more highly of this item. I bought one for my (10 pounds) Jack-chi too and its just as impressive for a small dog.

This seller is fantastic. I brought the wrong size for my dog, the seller refunded me straight away and arranged the collection from my home with the post office. I have now brought the write size form the seller and the fit and quality is 100% . I would recommend anyone to use this seller.

Hopefully the harness that this one replaced is going to be sturdier. The last sideclip snapped so this is important that this one lives up to the claims . I like the hatbess for Mt dog but very worried not as safe as advertised
