This mirror is great for viewing outside my home studio shed. A nice size for viewing lots of space. Great angles for seeing any strangers who might walk up to the door. So far, thankfully, that hasn't happened. I like the fact that it's adjustable and has multiple types of screws for mounting on different surfaces. A nice bonus is that it's also made of acrylic instead of glass, so I don't have to worry about it breaking.

I ordered this to use in my garage, where a pair of convex mirrors enables me to see the precise positioning needed to squeeze two cars into a tight two-car garage. The image is clear; the unit is fairly light; installation and adjustment is not difficult. But I'll add three other comments. First, all these units can be set to hold the mirror tightly in position, or they can be set loose, which means it's easy to knock the mirror out of position. I prefer the mirror to be securely fixed, but I found that I'd tightened the three screws on the back plate too tight, and some of the plastic of the ball-end on the plastic spindle was actually shaved off. So don't start with the adjustment too tight! Second, this mirror does not have a "visor" -- an extension of the rim at the top that slightly shields the mirror from rain. My other mirror has this feature, and it's a good idea. Third, I was very pleased that mounting options included four excellent stainless-steel screws -- essential if the unit is mounted outdoors.

i got this for the end of my driveway cause it’s hard to see cars coming around the corner. it was easy to put up and the mirror’s clear enough to see what’s coming even from a bit of distance. it’s lightweight but still feels sturdy once mounted. when the sun hits it directly there’s a bit of glare but not bad enough to be a problem. i’ve seen bigger ones that give a wider view but this size works fine for smaller spots. it’s good if you just need something simple to help you see better when backing out or turning.

I bought this mirror to help with backing out of my driveway, and it has been a great addition. The acrylic is super clear and much more lightweight than I expected, which made installation quick and easy. I like that it came with two sets of screws so I could mount it exactly where I needed. The adjustable swivel is a great feature. I was able to tilt the mirror just right to cover a blind spot near my garage. It gives me a much better view when pulling out, especially with kids and other cars around. Even after being out in the sun and rain, the mirror still looks new. No cracks or yellowing at all. Definitely a solid option if you need a reliable mirror for safety or visibility in tricky spots.
