Works exactly as advertised. This tool is great for flipping Kwikset locks that are upside down when you install them (ie the teeth of the key face downward). There's plenty of videos on youtube to show how exactly to do this. This tool makes it a breeze. Great value for the money to get all the locks in the house facing the same direction.

This tool makes it easy to pop out the lock cylinders on Kwikset locks so you can flip them 180 degrees. It didn't won't work on some really old Kwikset locks in our house. But it works great on the ones that we installed recently. You can use a couple of thin screwdrivers to pop the locks, too (there are a number of online videos that show how to do this), but this tool is so much faster and easier.

Handy tool that allowed me to rekey my side door rather than buying a whole new set of locks or hiring a locksmith. You can dismantle 90% of the Kwikset lock without it (what I attempted to do on my first attempt), but it's so much easier with this. Pros: Only costs a few bucks, not a huge loss if it doesn't work out. Both ends are designed for specific functions. The rounded end allows you to disengage the spindle to get access to the cylinder. The end with the two points dislodges the cylinder and can remove the locking clips. Cons: Does not come with instructions, but there are a number of guides or videos online that will walk you through the process.

I tried removing the cylinder with directions by YouTubers who demonstrate how to do it. After many hours of fighting, I bought this. I got it, and 5 minutes later, the cylinder was removed, flipped over, and reinstalled. No joke. It is completely worth the money.
