I got my target stands in as advertised. I had to wait to get some furring stripes 1x2x8. I got them then had to cut them in half. The paper targets are constructed well the stands are metal and you get just as listed for creating your stands. I think they will work well for pistol shooting. I did a dry shoot yesterday with them just to get the idea of where to place my red dot. they did not take long to put together once I had the furring strips cut. I lined up the bases at 12 inches as the width of the target is 12 inches x17inches. I used the clips that you get to hold them on. The clips being new are tight. I got the targets all set up and they look very nice. You can spread the target stands out to suit your own target. They go from 12 inches wide to wider. Just use a ruler to measure out your width. They do come with butterfly screws and tighten the base and wood in place. The only thing you need to get is your lumber. cut it to 4ft high and it should be good. You get stakes to place the stands into the ground. I like these targets. If they came with lumber cut to size that would have been good too. Check out my pictures

Works great for our needs

It is a decent base! However, it is not able to be set for 24”. At the very most it can be adjusted to a 22 3/4” target width! But for this price point I guess you can expect much! Still very useable! Definitely need to use the stakes if it’s windy. I also suggest better stakes or bag weights if there is much wind! The base does not weight very much which is good for portability!

Light weight so you have to use the supplied stakes or like in my case I use sandbags to hold stand in upright position on windy days.

Pretty solid just wish that the spot where the wood goes was more of a standard size of wood. But all in all pretty good for the price.

Great setup for pistols and rifles and they're adjustable to fit multiple size targets. Comes with clips so no need to staple them

Misleading. These are absolutely misrepresented. If you need a post spread of less than 20 inches they'd probably be fairly sturdy. They are advertised as up to 24 inch spread between support posts but that's impossible because the sliding supports are cut too short. You might be ok at 22 inches and still be able to secure the two halves but I'd stay clear because they'd still have too much play. If you wanted these for back yard air soft targets then they're a great deal but anything standard 23in width paper targets won't work.

Love using these to take the family to the range to shoot.
