1st book you should read to understand American Heritage and American history.
This was the first book and the only one to start reading to anyone's library and their own personal understanding of American history and the heritage of America. A perfect beginning to a U.S. history library. If you are a U.S. citizen or studying American history this book is a must read! Thank you to Hillsdale College Faculty for preserving American Heritage and History in the most direct and truest form.

History, what else can you say?
This is not elementary history. The book is very well written and the credentials of the contributors are vast. It is absolutely necessary in conjunction with the Hillsdale College history course. I do recommend both the course and the book. I have not finished either as yet but as soon as life slows back down a bit I intend to.
