Almond Basbousa/Hareesa/Nammoura Semolina Cake

This is one of the best choices I ever made tasty looks and taste. Very fresh came before time. I thank you so much for making this sweet. I will be one of your regular Customer promise.

My usual patisserie stopped making this semolina cake. That was a nail biter as I thought there'd be none for the holidays. And who wants to take a chance on an unknown brand during the holidays? But the photo looked good, so, I did. That was the best decision! Oh my goodness! This semolina cake is scrumptious. It has texture and flavour. It tasted just baked and cooled; even the blanched almond on each square was crunchy. We shared some with friends who found it utterly delicious. Great for holidays, parties and perfect with a cup of coffee. 🥳 It's rich though not overly sweet. This cake is well priced, there's lots for the cost. In fact, it's better than my old patisserie ever made. Thank you, Amazon, for carrying a new favorite brand.

Came a day late !! Dry and dose not taste like what it supposed to taste! I hardly leave reviews but unfortunately I’m disappointed Price wise is great but quality wise poor !! Needs improvement and more accuracy for delivery

Sweet but not sickly sweet. Excellent warmed up or cold straight from the tray. Has a lovely 'clean' rosewater syrup that is sweet, tasty, and keeps the cake moist but doesn't 'sog the cake down'. Lovely floral note but not 'soapy' or 'perfume-y'. The semolina has a lovely toothy-ness without feeling crunchy, gritty, or undercooked. A classic simple dessert with some subtle complexity, that would work for grown ups and kids alike. I have to struggle not to just tuck into the tray with a fork by myself!! Tastes fabulous with a strong cup of black tea or mint tea!! Very well packaged, arrived perfectly safe (from IL to WA!) and ready to eat!! Half tray was larger than expected, so plenty of servings for everyone. Very!! reasonable price for the quantity and quality. Super thrilled with my purchase!!💓😋

I would recommend..They would be great for a party. But they are also very sweet.
