Rough Country 2" Leveling Kit for 2000-2006 Chevy/GMC Tahoe/Yukon - 27330

All was great, just replaced 3/4 rear spacers with 2 inch ones and gave it better stance. Totally even with just the kit

I originally purchased this kit because I needed four shocks for the wife's 2000 Yukon. It would have cost more to purchase shocks separately so figured might as well level the vehicle while I am at it. I have not installed this kit yet but have the same one on my 03 Silverado and cost/value ratio is amazing for these products. Item arrived neatly packaged and containing all parts necessary. Take your time and be safe when unloading the torsion bars. Every part within this kit fit well and as expected. My wife's Yukon is now leveled and feels great compared to the stock suspension and shocks that were on it! Definitely Recommend!

The kit is awesome. It went right on and looks and drives excellent.

See below for update: I WISH I COULD GOVE ZERO STARS! The rear shocks that came with this kit, are too small. They don’t fit my 2001 Tahoe, non-Z71. Furthermore, the shocks seem a little squishy, compared to my OEM ones. Also, I would like to suggest making it very clear, shock bellows should be purchased. I contacted RC and will update my review after. Update: RC has not been helpful. They’re saying it’s normal to bend the factory mount to fit their shock…wrong! I am a vehicle safety inspector for the state of Maryland, Mercedes-Benz certified, ASE certified, with almost 20 years experience as an auto technician. These do not fit and it is NOT ok to bend components. Also, I was inspecting my Tahoe today, after I’ve driven a hundred miles and noticed the upper front shock bushing is already split. Furthermore, the ride is very squishy. Bottom line, DO NOT BUY! Horrible quality, horrible figment. If I didn’t already throw away my OEM components, I’d be returning this garbage kit! Now I need to buy a kit that is better quality. Hopefully I help someone not make the same mistake I did.

Overall this kit is decent. I installed this on my 03 suburban and it looks and rides much better. The shocks are easy to replace and install and the rear spacers work great with my new ac delco coil springs. One complaint I have is with the torsion bar keys provided in this kit. They gave me about a half inch lift after install and I had to sock the torsion bolts all the way to get that half inch. I eventually spent another $150 on some Pro Comp keys that gave me 2 1/2 inch lift with room for more. So that's my one and only complaint. The torsion keys. I honestly would pay another hundred bucks to have better Keys included. I would still recommend this product.

It worked perfect cuz I had a little tire rub and now I have zero rub even in tight turns

The shocks are very weak and didn't have the bushings pressed in. Unless you have a shop press these are more work then they are worth.

I had no problems whatsoever. The kit does everything its supposed to do...I was concerned about ride quality..but rides just fine..would definitely recommend.
