What is the measurement in length of the small 2.5 inch collar - foam only?

The small collar is between 13 1/2 and 15 1/2 inches. The circumference of the collar is adjustable using velcro. 2.5 inch collar means that under your chin it's 2 1/2 inches high. That's a pretty skinny collar. I purchased that size because I had to have some discs removed from my neck so my neck got a lot shorter. The 2 1/2 inches is the perfect size for me. I would measure your neck from under your chin to where the collar would rest on your collar bone. Let's say that number is 4 inches. If you want to keep your neck very still then I'd get the 3 1/2 inch collar, less stiff the 3 inch collar.. I've worn different types of collars over the past 20 years so I've gone through a lot of them. This is a good basic collar that allows for the height of the collar, which is a fantastic bonus. I hope this answer helps those that are trying to get the right collar.
