Bad-Tempered Ladybird : Carle, Eric: desertcart.in: Books Review: Do we react rationally when we are angry - Just like other books from Eric Carle, this book delivers an important message to toddlers and young children about the importance of controlling our temper and to choose our fights. A bad tempered lady bird who does not want to share its food with another friendly lady bird keeps going to bigger and bigger animals and instigating a fight. What happens when it reaches the biggest animal on the earth? And in the end does it really get to eat all the food? A very creative way of illustrating the story with a morale. Children can learn about animals, get a sense of small and big, and appreciate the importance controlling our actions when we are angry. High quality printing, beautiful illustrations and paperback takes almost no space. Overall, I would highly recommend adding this book to your toddler's library. Review: Must Have Kid book - This is a perfect book for my 4& half year old boy. The value inculcated through this book of being happy, caring and kind is a great help for growing kids. The pages are beautifully cut in a pattern and look beautiful. A must have on your kid's book shelf.

The book is ok not so great for that price
The book has good story and pictures. The concept is also ok for teaching your child how to learn to recognize hour on the clock. I believe the price is on a higher side. Thanks

My childs favorite
This book is a blessing for me as my toddler is short tempered and with this story book he now understands that we need to be friendly not grouchy. And the concept of sunrise and sunsets is brilliantly described!!

Brilliantly designed books
1. Size comparisons between the ladybird and the opponent she meets 2. The mini clocks on the top to teach how to read time 3. The position of the sun wrt the time on clock 4. The role of aphids in plants and ladybugs lives. What is not to love about this book...!!

Good
Book is good. Not as great as other more famous titles by the same author. Packing was shoddy and hence book was dented on delivery hence one star less.

My son loves this book. It is big. It is good to teach about bad temper, and to read clock. And it talks about different bugs and animals as well. It has a clock for almost each page. It is a big book (paperback) the pages are sicker that a regular book, which is good for my 3 year old boy. It has shinny finish of the pages.
