Evergreen Scale Models Styrene Sheet Odds & Ends EVG9002 Plastic Building Supplies

I recently bought the Evergreen Scale Models Styrene Sheet Odds & Ends (EVG9002) for some small modeling projects I had lined up, and I was very happy with what I got. The bag comes with a good variety of styrene sheets - exactly as advertised. The variety was perfect for my needs. I was able to find just the right pieces for all my little projects without having to buy a bunch of full-size sheets. It's a great way to stock up on odds and ends for scratchbuilding. Overall, I'd highly recommend this to anyone who does model building or crafting with styrene. It's a great way to get a variety of shapes and sizes for small projects.

We needed some thin polystyrene sheet to make wheel well doors for a model airplane. I was trying to guess the desired thickness, and what might need for future projects... and how much to buy. This bag contains a lot of plastic, one half pound, in fact. The variety of pieces makes this a great value. MY BAG CONTAINED THE FOLLOWING. IT IS NOT A DESCRIPTION OF EVERY BAG; THEY ARE ALL DIFFERENT. Thicknesses were measured with an iGaging ABSOLUTE ORIGIN 0-6" Digital Electronic Caliper - IP54 Protection / Extreme Accuracy . Pardon the false precision; I am too lazy to round off to significant digits. Black sheets: 3 3/4 x 8 inch x 0.041 inch thick (1.05 mm) 2 3/4 x 8 inch x 0.043 inch thick (1.1 mm) White pieces: 12 x 3 inch sheet 0.04 inch thickness 6 x 6 in. corrugated sheet 0.0325 in. thick (2 sheets) 4 x 8 in. 0.06 in. 3 1/4 x 8 in. 0.0155 in. (4 sheets) Thin, but not flimsy. 2 3/4 x 8 in. 0.0125 in. (4 sheets) These have more in common with paper than plastic; they are translucent. 2 3/4 x 8 in. 0.06 in. 2 x 0.315 in. (2.41mm) round tube (4) 2 x 0.121 in. (3.1 mm) round tube 2 x 0.158 in. (4 mm) round tube I was looking for 0.03 or 0.04 sheets, and trying to decide how much I needed, when I stumbled on this item. It adds up to a big reservoir of plastic. I'll never need all of it, but it will be nice if I want to add tabs to a cut-out to make a battery door, or if we need to make a curved sheet... you get the idea. One could use sprue, or unused parts, but this is nice if you want to start with a blank sheet. Edit: these don't appear to be scraps, despite the description: odds and ends. Rather, the sheets are brand new with straight, clean edges. The tubes are short and have more irregular edges.

As advertised. Quality sheet styrene excellent for all scratchbuilding projects. Good price, packaging. Very satisfied.

The item is one (1) 8oz package of styrene odds and ends. Mine was mostly white sheets, a textured sheet, a small clear red, and large clear sheet. Also a few tubes about 2" x .25". Looks like a nice mix of items. If you need something specific, I'd look for that instead of hoping it will be in the pack. Amazon's description is incompetent at best, deceptive at worst - 8oz total weight (1 package), item count (3 pieces), under mfg suggested price ($12.97 vs. $9.79 msrp), tie closure (indicating bundling), two images (of the same item) all lead to confusion. I would recommend picking this up at your local store if you see it instead of here. The seller has no control over this description - they were quick to respond and provided excellent service - I may order from them directly next time.

Easy to cut or heat shape to form. An excellent plastic to use for modeling.

Best packet of plastic I ever bought. Most the time you get a few sheets and you have to cut up a big sheet every time . This not only has sheets of different sizes I got transparent color sheets , you can put little LEDs behind them for a great touch.

This was a good mix, enough to do several added details or reshaping on a model.

Patece que el contenido es aletorio, a mí me salió varias laminas de diferentes tamaños, blancas, negras una rojo y una transparente aún no lo abro, pero estoy satisfecho con lo que me llegó.

I only got sheets of differing thickness, nothing like what was shown in the picture. I was expecting some tubes or beams or anything a bit more exciting than sheets of plastic, which I already have.

Seems like a great value for someone looking to build up their stock - has a ton if useful crafting supplies for hobby work, several thicknesses of sheet styrene, some textured, some tinted, transparent sheets, and some sizeable tubing. Considering the hassle of buying these individually I would recommend the package, which arrived in good condition and in good time.

Hatte mir eigentlich etwas mehr Auswahl und größere Stücke erwartet. Alles max A 5 und wenig Mix. Keine Empfehlung
