Just what I ordered, cheap little feet guards for trying on shoes.

product was purchased for an "off label" use; a friend had told me that these footies were perfect for fruit protection from insect attack when applied to small individual fruit before it was attacked and that the footie expands as the fruit grows. Labor intensive to apply (one footie/fruit at a time) but if it works worth the modest price and time.

Like most others, I got this for protecting fruit from insects, not for wearing on my feet! I'm not sure why the manufacturer doesn't just switch to making products specifically for fruit, since there seems to be a much higher demand for this than for use as crappy socks. These are very easy to slide over fruits while they are young, and you can adhere it with a simple baggy tie, which I also git in bulk for a low price, I think 2,000 for a few dollars. They will stretch and get bigger as the fruit grows, and you might be able to reuse some of these in subsequent years. I have heard that these work best on peach, nectarine, and apricot trees, and that Ziploc bags work better for apples. I think that is probably true, except that the squirrels haven't really touched my apples yet, but they ate almost every single one of my peaches and nectarines. I'm not sure if this is just a preference for peaches over apples, or if ziploc bags actually help to block squirrels. So the main downside to these is that squirrels can bite right through them, and then the bugs can get in. I had also tried another brand in a blue box that was slower to arrive, but cost less and had better quality than this one. These footies tore quite easily and were shorter than that brand. As long as I can order those blue boxes a little bit in advance to account for shipping time, I will try to buy that brand over this brand in the future.

Comfortable and good quality

It works, but too small as most of others. It should be O.K for junior size trying, but definately not for regular men's size.

I actually bought these to help my pool skimmer...they work great. A hell of a lot cheaper than the "socks" pool stores sell to do the same thing. Just pop one over the pool basket before the water hits the pump and it captures all the bugs, and other crap floating around. Then just toss it in the trash when it gross, and put a new on when needed.

Honestly was having trouble with algae and whatnot in my above ground pool. Got the bright idea that something like this might work if you on the intake of the inside of the pool. Just an FYI it worked awesome!! Not just for your feet!!
