Eleven Stirling Engine Projects You Can Build Paperback – January 22, 2012

Useful and interesting book for students of the first cours of chemistry and thermodynamics. It helps to developpe creativity by making models that really works giving at the same the opportunity to understand the theoretical aspects of this celebrated engine. Every model can be built by a small group of abaout 3 or 4 students and then, a short lecture and demonstration can be done as a performance among them, explaining the differences and results.

It's my own fault for shopping late at night. I didn't pay attention to the arrow and read all of the way down. A better title would be 6 sterling engines, 1 remake and 4 kit reviews. You don't get the plans for 11 engines. The book reviews 4 kits which are not cheap to buy. It's my own fault for not reading carefully enough but it's an expensive paperback book. Not sure that it is worth $40. I bought it as a present. It seems well written. Hopefully it will be enjoyed

I purchased this for my husband, he has read through it and believe how easy it seams to be to build one of these. He is excited to try some experimenting and find ways to power our home and other projects he can use it on!

Just about ready to build my first sterling. his shopping list and guidance thus far has been easy to follow.

a good read, shows tips and tricks. some a bit more complicated than others, but explanation is there so once you do it, its obviously not that hard. good for learning by doing

Interesting book. Detailed descriptions, but it would be better if it icluded some drawings with dimensions, concerning the LTD engines.
