These will allow you to install aftermarket 6.5" speakers in the factory door locations. Self adhesive foam rings are also included to help with dampening and bass response. I ended up using these in my 2009 Chevy Silverado. They fit perfectly and my stereo hasn't sounded better. I recently replaced the factory head unit, but it really didn't sound any better until I upgraded the speakers from the dull, inefficient OEM units to a pair of Pioneers. Now it kicks! The foam really did a good job of cutting down on rattle and tightening up the bass reaponse. Overall build quality is excellent. I expect these to last me the life of my truck. I only needed two of the four brackets, since it's a single cab. I'll save the other two for another vehicle. This is also a great deal for the money. Name brand brackets cost (expectedly) juuust a little more, but without the foam rings.
