Fantasy
This portable car refrigerator is a total game-changer for road trips and camping! It cools down incredibly fast and keeps drinks ice-cold without the mess of melting ice. The dual-zone temperature control is perfect for freezing meats while keeping fruits fresh. It runs quietly in the back seat and sips power efficiently. Highly recommend it for anyone who loves long drives, tailgating, or off-grid adventures!

4 Stars for the Fridge, 5 for solving our RV fridge problem
We have a 2017 Micro Minnie and have been struggling with a 2 way absorption-style cooler (Dometic RM2351) for the past 3 years. We mostly gave up on it a year ago and bought an electrical cooler for our cold stuff. In the correct environment and with constant monitoring the 2 way worked, some times. I've tried several fixes but nothing worked and I was fed up. I've been looking for a replacement to our 2 way rv fridge for some time, but never found anything that would be a drop in replacement at a reasonable cost. In comes the Bodega 110L. Watching an RV vid on youtube showed a smaller Bodega in their setup and I researched and found the 110L. It is NOT a drop in replacement for the Dometic RM2351, it is bigger in width and height. I had to modify the opening and a cross brace to get it to fit. Took most of a day to make all the necessary mods. Only the rear locations for the mounting tabs are accessible in our location, so only 2 of the 4 are installed. But the front of the cabinet is pretty snug to the fridge so not much possibility of up and down movement there. The air circulation venting meets the manuals recommendation and under multiple days of testing it works. The Bodega 110L was able to cool to an internal temperature of ~45F while the inside of the RV was ~115F (welcome to South East Arizona in June). We were not camping at the time so the inside AC was not on and we were also not opening and closing the fridge at the time, but as far as I'm concerned the multiday test passed where the Dometic, even when it was working great, never succeeded. Having only a 12vdc system I knew I would need more juice to operate the fridge. I upgraded from lead acid to LiFePo4 and increased the total amp hours from 100 to 280 while also installing the Bodega. In the testing it used ~60Ah over a 24 hour period. With a rated 200W solar panel I was able to maintain neutral, which was good. The door opens differently and the freezer door, as other reviews have mentioned, is not the most robust. But the freezer door is magnetic so it stays open when pulling stuff in and out of the freezer. The opening and closing will take some getting used to (it is mostly a two handed operation) and I think the freezer door will just have to be handled gently. I needed to swap the door hinges and the manual has the instructions. It took a few tries to get the correct hinge settings to not fold the gasket and get the door to click close. Not as easy to adjust or hinge swap as the Dometic. This 110L Bodega and the upgraded battery have shown in testing to be able to replace our not really enjoyable (because even in proper working order never was able to cool down in high heat conditions) and non functioning Dometic RM2351. The Bodega is pretty good. A 4 star. Not having to lug around an electric cooler makes it a 5.

Fantastic cooling, tiny fridge space
We bought this to replace a 3-way absorption Dometic that could not stay cold in 90F+ temps. This one works perfect in maintaining safe fridge temps even in 100F/55% humidity. It DOES develop ice in the fridge area indicating high humidity, which is concerning as the seals on it are brand new, and the fridge and freezer are completely separate. And if you don't find just the right temp, it will freeze vegetables at the bottom and toward the back of the fridge. My biggest issue with this model is that the freezer portion seems oversized to how tiny the useable fridge area actually is. Unlike the Dometic that had space for half gallon milk cartons to stand upright, this one does not have that type of space. We have to put the carton in sideways, which takes up much needed shelf space. Also note that the inside vegetable storage tray is fairly small too. If you need more freezer than fridge space, this model will work perfect. If you tend to use the fridge portion more, pick another model.

Good size, door and shelving layout, humidity control sealed drawer would be great.
Been using the cooler for about a month and it cools nicely and does not draw excessive power. Good sizing and value. my only disappointment is that the drawer is not a sealed, humidity controlled storage, but that is probably hard to find in this size fridge, so i have not reduced my rating for that. i have not used the freezer much as i’m still building out my campervan so i keep drinks and snacks in it for convenience. i also have a 12 volt Set Power freezer cooler style so did not prioritize freezer space here although it appears larger than most small fridge freezers.

Solid 12v fridge
Update October 2025 Unfortunately, I have been less than thrilled with this fridge after my initial use period. There are two main concerns I have: - The door for the freezer is held in by one little plastic nub on each end. One of my nubs broke off through normal use and the door no longer stays on. After multiple attempts to contact support, I was finally able to get a replacement part ordered. But we are now almost 6 months into it and they are still waiting for the part from the factory. If you need support with this product I wouldn’t hold your breath. The temperature settings only allow you to change in 2 degree increments (e.g. 33 degrees to 35 degrees). I’m constantly switching back and forth between two settings but on the warmer one, things in the freezer often get too soft. And on the colder one, things in the fridge freeze up. If I could set it between the two settings I “think” it would be just right. But that is not an option… Original Review: I really like this fridge. It replaced a dometic in my van and I was a little skeptical given the low price and brand that I am not familiar with. But I figured I would take a chance since it was free shipping and free returns. 12v setup was easy and connected into my existing setup in minutes. The temperature setting was quick and easy. I have a fridge thermometer inside and it never wavers more than 2 degrees either way. Much more consistent than what I had previously. It also uses less power from my batteries each day which is always a plus. I love the big freezer- so much bigger than what I had before. I like having multiple boxes of ice cream in addition to my frozen veggies. The bottom shelf on the door holds a half gallon of milk, a box of OJ and other similar sized liquids. There are a few things I don’t love. The top shelves on the door are very small and don’t hold much that I would like to put there. I also don’t love the door opening approach. The latch on front unlocks the door (a good thing) but then you have to reach around the side of the door panel to open it. In my setup, accessing the side of the door is tough because it is completely flush. I’m going to add a strap to the front and see if that makes it easier to open. Overall I’m very happy with this fridge so far. I’ll update my review if anything changes.

Great RV electric repacement cooler/freezer
Installed and working fine. Did a direct connection to the battery to bypass the fuse box to simplify installation and diagnostics. The bluetooth application makes controling the temp of both zones very easy. Had to modify the cabinet for the cooler, but mostly just bracing and trim. Thanks guys for a well thought out design.

A BODEGA 4 our Groceries
I bought the Bodega CR65L 12-volt refrigerator to replace the built-in Vitrifrigo C601BD4-F-1, primarily because of its size. If you've ever replaced a built-in refrigerator, you understand the tyranny of dimensions. We did have to make a few modifications to make it fit, but nothing too extensive. The installation was completed within the last week, so I don't have any long-term experience with the refrigerator yet. Frankly, I'd never heard of BODEGA before, but after watching several videos and reading a lot of reviews, I figured, "What the heck—let's give it a try." I would have preferred a model that ran on both 12 volts and 110V AC so the battery could get a break while we're plugged into shore power. That said, shore power keeps the batteries charged anyway, so it's not a deal breaker. I also understand that many newer RVs are now coming with 12- or 24-volt refrigerators only. After the installation, we set the refrigerator to 37°F, the same temperature as our refrigerator at home. It reached that temperature in under two hours, which was impressive—and something the $1,400 Vitrifrigo never managed to do. I also put a half-liter bottle of water in the freezer overnight, and by morning it was frozen solid. Another pleasant surprise. I'll probably remove the freezer door and use the entire unit as a refrigerator, although I do like that the freezer door has a magnetic catch to hold it open—a thoughtful touch. The digital control panel is clean, intuitive, and easy to use. Hopefully, I'll never need to open the owner's manual. For context, we live in California's Coachella Valley, where the average temperature this time of year is around 100°F. The refrigerator is installed in our 2017 Ford Transit high-roof, extended-length camper van. Like everyone else, the big question is longevity. We're leaving for Canada in a week or so and expect to be on the road for at least two months, possibly three. A dependable refrigerator is essential. We also have a BougeRV 30-quart refrigerator on a slide-out in the rear of the van that we use primarily for beverages, while the Bodega CR65L will handle most of our food. If you never hear from me again, you'll know everything is working perfectly. If something does go wrong, I'll contact BODEGA first, as I've heard they have good customer support. If I need support and don't receive it, I'll come back and post an update. In the meantime, we'll be "Craic'n & Laxin'" on the road.

Perfect Camper Fridge
I bought this for my truck camper to replace the old fridge that was in it. This fridge is great, fairly light weight , much lighter than your standard home mini fridge . Lots of storage , can easily have a weeks worth of food in it . I powered this fridge for 10 days entirely on my solar system and my battery was still 100% , so I'd say it's incredibly efficient. Would buy again .

10/10 would buy again
I'm very happy with this refrigerator. The build quality is plenty good enough and it feels fairly well made. What impressed me the most is the customer service. The company truly stands behind its product and was responsive and helpful whenever I needed replacement parts. It's great to know they support their customers after the sale. Overall, this is a reliable 12V refrigerator that offers excellent value. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality portable fridge and who doesn't want to spends thousands of dollars
