Sturdy and heavy pan. Excellent quality. The thickness prevents sides from overcooking.

A bit small but still okay

This is an excellent quality Mary Ann Pan. I love the size and depth which is smaller and deeper than others. It bakes very well, releases without difficulty and very easy to clean. I rated only 4 stars because, as others have mentioned, the edges are quite sharp. They are actually sharp enough to cause cuts and scratches if one is not careful. This is not a cheap pan, so I don't understand why the manufacturer doesn't smooth the edges. If there were another choice, I would return the pan and try another. In the meantime, just be careful.

I can get one of these and at least six cupcakes out of a box of cake mix. Bakes up nice and easy to remove from the pan. I'm very happy with it but I should have paid more attention to the description and the size (smaller than I thought but it works out). I did end up buying a larger version in order to serve more folks.

I used this to make a Charlotte, (or Maryanne) style cake rather than flan. Most Charlotte pans are 11 inches, yielding between 8 -12 servings depending on how it is cut, which is far too much for the two of us to eat before it gets soggy. I baked a Charlotte cake in my air fryer using this smaller pan that was just the right size, making 4 to 6 servings depending on how you cut it. I sprayed it with Baker's Joy (not just regular cooking spray) prior to adding my batter and the cake released from the pan with no trouble. I didn't find any sharp edges as some other reviewers did. It also didn't leak batter which others complained of, so I think it depends on how thick or thin your batter is. Very pleased with this purchase. It will be my go to cake pan from now on.

Fan tins are not common in the USA. Very glad to find a good quality tin, and we have already made 4 fruit flans.

It make a nice fruit fan but smaller than I thought it would be.

Very good quality tin. Very functional and durable. It is non-stick but needs some baking paper centrally then perfect every time. Good value for money.
