I purchased it because it does not have many ingredients and additives, it is cost effective, convenient as it saves time and effort from manually grating soap, and it is well packaged, so it is easy to store and maintain product humidity level. I also like that it works well. The clothes come out clean, it has not caused sking sensitivity for us, and it is unscented. It can also be used to clean bathroom with appropriate formula. Two ways to avoid issues regarding undissolved flakes in the washing machine are to either use the hot water cycle, or to previously dissolve the soap flakes in a small ampunt of hot water before adding it to the washing machine.
