People complained about the chain coming off. I had no such issue. In fact, this saw surprised me on how fast it cuts, how well it oiled the chain, its light weight and its ease of use. Im glad i bought it, it cut my tree branches quick! I highly recommend this saw. It even came with bar oil which was nice.

I bought this product to trim the tree thats in my yard and I was surprised at how good the quality of this product was it. It cut through some big branches without any hassle. Speed was really good. There was no oil leakage. The weight wasn't too heavy. Really easy to use.

I received a damaged chainsaw. I returned it (free shipping) and got a replacement right away. It is very easy to use and is not too heavy. I wish the telescoping handle were longer. The protective cover is not snug, does not lock in place and will fall off if you're walking with the chainsaw. The protective cover is only useful when storing the chainsaw on the ground or if storing upright, the cover can sit on the chain like a hat. I have had no prior experience using a chainsaw so I was a bit nervous but the instruction manual is an excellent document and made the chainsaw easy for me to use. The saw cut through thick branches almost like cutting through butter. It was fun. I noticed that the cut branches had chainsaw oil sprayed on them. I don't know if this is normal since I am new at this. But overall I am very satisfied and made a good investment.

This is by far the best pole saw I ever used. The build is very solid and more powerful then anyone would ever need to cut through even the thickest branches. Saw teeth are razor sharp requiring almost no effort or force necessary to cut. I didn't expect this saw to be that good. Super satisfied and would highly recommend.

I am using tree cutter for the very first time in my life 1. This tool was easy to assemble, clear instructions were given 2. Product arrived in well packaged and in time. 3. Tool is very easy to use, except as mentioned in other reviews it is not light weight and need good arm strength to hold it. 4. As other reviews mentioned, after branch cut, it quickly comes down, so be careful 5. Wear all protective gears for sure 6. Watch for ants etc on branches while cutting it 7. Watch for ants on ground as well, as you will be mostly focusing on tree 8. Watch your tree from all directions first and plan how much and which branches you will be cutting, it should not happen that tool is working so great and you overcut it 9. Read all 5 star and below reviews before start using it 10. You will have to purchase long cord, keep that in mind

This pole saw was such a disappointing purchase. We had no idea that this was going to be a disposable item that would work twice and then fail on us. It barely cut threw the couple of small branches that we had and then stopped working. It "tries" to work, but it appears that the chain is "stripped" and it will not cut. If we could give this saw negative stars we would. Do yourself a favor - don't waste your money.

I have used WEN 8"electric pole saw for many years. The angled head is good design. Extendable shaft also makes it safer to use. Bought the first one in 2022, used occasionally. The cover with a pin to tighten the chain tension broke. WEN sent me a new cover at no charges. The motor burned after 2 years with light use. Bought a second one at the end of 2024 due to good sale price. Again the motor burned after 7 months. The saw may be used 5 times in 7 months for cutting branches not larger than 4". WEN customer service sent me a brand new head at no charges. Although the quality is not the best for the money but WEN does stand behind their products. Updated: I received the new head with new motor from WEN. It took 10 minutes of cutting some 4" diameter branch and the smoke can be seen from the motor. Now I am going to shop for another pole saw. WEN customer service stand behind their products but the quality needs lots of improvements.

took it to the camp and trim high branches and it cut like a hot knife through butter works so well i love it

the only reason I wasn't going to do a review was I didn't want anyone else to have one of these. I recently borrowed a high end name brand pole saw and used it for the day, and it was no comparison to this little WEN beast, 1/4 of the cost and everything about it is very well engineered.

Have used it to cut some high branches in my orchard to get the fruit. Will be helpful in trimming this fall. Lightest (but small engine) for old fogies like me.

Needed to cut back shrubbery behind a shed that I couldn’t get to with a bow saw and because of my pacemaker I am unable to use gas equipment, this pole saw was brilliant and easy to use...cut through like a knife through butter!!
