Very lighweight for what you get. Charges easily and holds that charge for hours of useful duty cycle. Main LED forward-focused lights are really too bright, which I find myself enjoying. The broader-field LED array is still bright, but not overwhelming. Clips easily onto a baseball cap visor, and thirty seconds later it no longer feels awkward. Be spiritually prepared for looking like a dork wearing it, no matter why you use it. I purchased the light as a superior replacement for a couple of caps that I've had for years with low-power LED lights embedded in the bill, powered by old-style watch batteries. They both still work, but this is much better. The red light and motion sensor functions work, but I don't have a use for them. Very enjoyable and useful tool for working hands-free at night or in dark spaces. Also nice accessory for a Ghostbusters-themed costume...if you were ever to need one. You'll like it a lot.

This thing is tough. I ended up using it for work on my hard hat instead of at home. I have an air vent that with a little modification it will stay on top of the hard hat. I have dropped it several times but several months of use it’s still working great and very bright. The actuating hinge is perfect for anything that I am working on. I would buy another one just for work if this one stops working. I have only used the spot light because I only need that option. The only thing that I don’t like is how many times you have to push the button to go through all of them to shut it off. BUT whichever one you choose for several seconds it shuts off immediately after without going through all modes. And the motion activated is ok, when you have something too close and move it will switch. That is only good for large areas, not close spaces.

I ordered this earlier this year to light my path while delivering packages before sunrise. The hands free motion sensor was clutch and I was able to turn the light on every time I got out of my car. Pretty snazzy. It remembers the brightness level you set until you manually turn it off so when it’s on sensor mode you don’t have to keep dimming it down. I’m writing this review now because my light stopped charging and eventually died. Rufus the Amazon AI told me it has a one year warranty so I contacted the seller and told them my buddy light (that looks like ET with the eyes) went out. They apologized for the inconvenience and sent a replacement which I received a couple of days later. And it’s the same color as the first one. Nice.

Light is very bright in any setting and is built well with a reasonable battery life but a little bit heavier than I like and the clip broke off on my 3rd or 4th use of it
