Tidal Deep Hydration and Plumping Serum

I had certainly heard of the brand "Sunday Riley" and I was excited to have the opportunity to try one of their products and see what all the hype is about... and to see if it's deserved. I'm almost 60 years old and as a long-term tretinoin user. This dry, bitter, cold winter weather is really taking it's toll on my skin despite using my usual hydrating cleansers, toners, serums and moisturizers. I only use toners/serums in the morning as not to interfere with my tretinoin use at night - and despite only using it once daily I have to say this product delivers on it's promises. It arrived beautifully packaged in a luxury-feel heavy box, safety seals intact, and the serum itself is in a heavy glass bottle with pump. The texture has a creamy, lotion-like texture and appearance with no noticeable fragrance (a big plus for me). I gently cleanse my face in the morning, apply a light toner, then apply this serum before sealing it all in with an occlusive moisturizer (then SPF, always!). On the rare off-tret/spa night I would definitely incorporate this serum into my nighttime regimen as well. I noticed an immediate difference in my skin after the very first application. My skin felt plump, moist, and more firm, and the benefit lasts all day. This is definitely a high-end product, but if it fits in your budget and your skin can use extra hydration - this product is definitely one to consider I absolutely love it - recommended! The texture is lightweight but deeply hydrating, and it sinks in nicely without feeling sticky or heavy. My skin feels instantly plumper and smoother after applying it, and over time I’ve noticed my skin just looks healthier and more hydrated overall. I have dry-leaning skin, and this has been amazing at keeping my face comfortable and hydrated all day without clogging pores or causing irritation. It works really well with the rest of my skincare and makeup too. It’s definitely a splurge, but for me it’s been worth it. If you already love Sunday Riley or are looking for a high-quality hydrating serum that actually makes your skin look and feel better, this one is a win. I’ll definitely be repurchasing.

I am always trying new skin care items and love the ones that are green companies. This serum had a very light scent and a nice consistency. It left my skin feeling soft and moisturized, with a little tingling sensation every application. I didn’t notice any improvement in my wrinkles so wouldn’t buy it again to help with that, but it definitely does a nice job hydrating

This is a great hydration/plumping serum that does what it claims to do. I'm an avid user of hyaluronic acid and this does at least as good a job as that, but it seems or feels to be even better. The plumping action wasn't profound on my face, but there was definitely a noticeable effect, so it does what it claims to do. The serum spreads easily and little goes a long way. It feels very nice and I didn't experience any irratition or redness. Overall, I was very happy with this high-quality product. The major issue with this serum is just the cost. This is really pricey stuff! The second is pretty minor, which is that I didn't love the smell. I find it hard to describe, but it didn't give me that high-end spa smell. This definitely falls more on the mediciney side of things, which maybe is a good thing, but from an experience perspective, I didn't look forward to using it as I do with some other products, just based on smell alone.

Aside from vitamin c serum, hyaluronic acid serum is a MUST in my skincare routine. I could almost forgo everything else because the hydration is immaculate! The pump is easy to dispense and I find that one pump is honestly plenty. With any hyaluronic serum, because it is a thicker viscosity; has a tendency to stay sticky on the face for a few minutes afterwards so I very rarely need more than one pump to distribute it over my face neck, but also helps lessen absorption time. There is no discernible fragrance that stands out to me, so I don't find that irritating. It's so hydrating that my skin immediately glows and feels bouncy. I apply this immediately after my skin essence to lock in that hydration and after about 5 minutes, will go over with my vitamin c serum and then sunscreen for the day. It keeps my skin hydrated all day long and doesn't cause any heaviness or greasiness to my skin because I'm not needing a thicker moisturizer over top, I typically leave that for my bedtime routine which is more intense. Stunning formula and my skin loves the hydration boost.
