Love them×
I've only been using them for a week but like what I'm seeing. They're easy to use and easy to get off. Instructions suggest to wet them to remove easier, but I have been removing them dry very carefully and notice they also pull out all my blackheads that way so my forehead is smooth AND clear in the mornings. First night was definitely a bit uncomfortable and the feeling took a minute to get use to but now it doesn't bother me. They do have a smell but it's not terrible and goes away after washing your face, but if you're sleeping in the patches it doesn't affect you much. Overall enjoying these and can't wait to see the results over 30 days

It works! Consistency is KEY!
I tried Frownies as a more natural approach to the lines i started noticing forming on my forehead and between my brows. I tend to have a RBF lol and tense my face muscles when I sleep. Im 33 and my lines weren't super deep, but definitely getting more noticeable. These are a great natural alternative to botox. OK, so lots of reviews say it smells bad, so much so that its unbearable. If you put it right up to your nose, its not a pleasant smell, but who does that? But still not unbearable by any means. I cant smell it when its on my face. Its obviously sort of annoying to have to put these on your face every night, but im pretty consistent and because the results are insanely good, I dont mind. Its like a cast on your forehead, and it dries super quick. Keeps everything in place, flattens out the lines and keeps your face from scrunching. I see results as soon as I take them off in the morning and my forehead is super smooth. So satisfying! Now granted, the results are not permanent the first few days/weeks (depending on the person). Ive been doing this probably for 5 months now and I've missed a few nights here and there, but for the most part im consistent. The first few days/weeks id take them off in the morning and was discouraged to find the lines come back by the time I was done with my morning coffee. But as time went on the gap between when the lines would return got longer. Im more relaxed in my muscles and the lines do not return for the whole day. Now they would return if I skipped a day or so, so I try not to do that. Im hopefully going to get to the point where i only need to do it a few times a week, but i havent tested that out yet. Also, my lines werent super deep, so I know for others it might take longer for lasting results. So ill say again, consistency! If you are ok with committing to putting these on every night, then go for it! Also I've seen reviews complain about them hurting to remove. Just put some water on your finger tips, wet underneath the frownie edge and push your finger under the frownie so the water can soften the sticky part. It will come up with minimal pull. I also just use plain warm water to stick them on my face, I did not buy the rose water. Works fine. I cut to size ones for the sides of my mouth usually too, cause I am a side sleeper and they help tremendously with keeping that area flattened. Anyway, good option for keeping my lines smooth for right now, and it feels great to look fresher😊 sorry I didnt think to take a before picture when I started, but I have this after of my forehead a few hours after taking frownies off in the natural light now. No makeup obviously (hadn't put my eyebrows on for the day lol), just my tallow moisturizer.

Pretty good, with one down side
I waited until I had finished the entire box (which took a little over a month) before writing this review. I've used other anti-wrinkle tapes, and I think these work pretty well for how low-tech they are. I'm 58 and have deep, permanent lines across my forehead that no amount of patches is going to erase. However, what these do well is prevent new creases from forming. The patches are water-activated (I spritz mine), and you just stick them on like a postage stamp. They dry quickly and form a hard mask that keeps your forehead from moving. That part is good, but the bad part is that they STINK. Like, literally. They smell terrible. I can only imagine the sad horse they made the glue out of. But if you can handle that, they work fairly well. Taking them off isn't terrible. They stick well, but not so hard that you feel like your skin is ripping off along with it. There's usually a little glue residue left on my skin but that comes off with a little splash of water. Honestly, I wish these were cheaper, but I do think they work fairly well.

They stink like bad breath! Make you break out!
I bought these after seeing them several times on social media. I had reserved hopes for them due to the fact that you see them on social media so how good can they actually be? Well, I’m not sure about all that yet, but let me tell you, they stink. They smell like bad breath! As I was putting them on my forehead, the smell made me gag and now that I’m sitting here with them on my head every once in a while, I catch a whiff of it and it’s absolutely terrible. It smells like someone who hasn’t brushed their teeth! Maybe the rosewater is supposed to make them smell better, I’m not sure I didn’t buy the rosewater. I just intended on using warm water. I’m going to give them a chance to see if they work, maybe it’ll be worth the bad breath smell, but so far I don’t have anything positive to say about these things. They were sticky to put on if your fingers were even remotely damp. It was kind of a pain in the butt and then once I put them on my forehead, they kind of fought me on sticking to my forehead, so I stood there and just held them until they finally adhered. Maybe I used too much water I don’t know, but so far I do not recommend these at all. Update! They also made me break out, I haven’t broken out in years. I would not recommend this product to anyone!

Overall my vote is nope
Will update review after extended use - this is after my first use: Mixed feelings. Definitely not as smooth as they make them look on all their hype social media and advertisements. It was a bit tough getting them to stick. In one video they said to let them sit a moment but then they dried and didn’t stick, and a second application of moisture to the back side made them feel like they wouldn’t stick so I sat there with hands pressed against them for what seemed like forever to get them to stay on. Hopefully this was first time awkwardness and I will get better at application. They also are stinky, but better stinky than chemicals that make them smell good, I just hope that’s the case. I slept with them and was woken up a few times by my face stretching against the pillow and the patches yanking hairs out! lol! Ouch! Well, this won’t be an issue either after a few more uses because those baby hairs will be GONE! Removal with warm water was easy; I splashed it on and brushed my teeth then splash again and they came right off. Don’t rush it. Box was so small and underwhelming for the cost. Can I make this with starch and paper? Anyway gals and guys, I’ll update this review when my two weeks of frequent if not daily use is up. Update after box is all gone: verdict is that they don’t do much. I couldn’t see any difference between the before and after. I think the truth might be such that if you don’t have lines these might slow down the appearance of new lines, but for me, they cost too much for how little they do. I also found it hard to sleep with them on because the pointy corners poked my face as I rolled over and it woke me up. I wanted more from this product and am so sad they are a bust. I would not recommend this product to my friends and family.

Does a great job when used properly!
Consistency, and proper application make these bad boys work. If I am wearing them consistently my forehead lines nearly disappear completely. Even after a single use, in the morning it was a shocking difference. But over time definitely does the job. I’ve used many creams and alone they don’t touch the lines hardly at all. But combined with my medical grade skin care routine - these are incredible. I’m 28 and have awful skin on my face. From a lot of stress through my life especially in my younger years and then cystic acne, which I had for about 12 years, my skin has really paid the price. It looks very aged. I’m doing everything I can to try and restore it and these little patches are pretty impressive. I prepare the patches towards the end of my skincare routine at night. I apply my growth factor serum, and then I separate the frownies and use my finger to swipe warm water on each little triangle. I let them sit for the duration of time that I let my growth factor serum dry on my face. Then I apply them and try to overlap them a little bit so that they form a cast. I press them down and hold for a bit for a solid application. So easy! In the morning when I remove them my forehead looks more hydrated and the lines reduced. I’ve never, not a single time, had these fall off in my sleep. I genuinely believe the people who are having this problem, are not applying them properly. I sleep like a mad man, and yet they the cast stays very stuck until I remove it. Sorry, I didn’t take a before picture of my forehead so you could see what it was like before I started using them. But I’ve attached a picture of how they should look applied.

Got my frownies on!
I absolutely love this product! Super effective if you continue use. Not a fan of the smell of the adhesive, but they work so I’ll take it. Very durable if you wait for the adhesive to get tacky before applying. Easy to apply and Skin is shiny when you remove them. Removal is very easy with no pain. I’m including a silly photo of my middle crease. I will wear two triangles while watching tv.

Mixed Feelings from a 25 Year Old Dermatology Assistant
About me: I’m a very facially expressive 25 year old with the genetic predisposition for all the fine lines and wrinkles. Currently my forehead and frown lines are the most prominent and are starting to linger there for the majority of the day. They don’t bother me much and my goal for this product was the prevention of the lines deepening over time and becoming more permanent. Because I work in dermatology I’ve been privy to trying Botox on my 11s as it’s one of the recommended preventative treatments for fine lines and wrinkles. About the product: This product has an application learning curve. The glue is sticky and smells of peppermint and applying these patches is kind of messy. I watched their tutorial that said to create a “cast” for your forehead with these things. This “cast” is uncomfortable and itchy and I’ve woken up at 4am a few times literally itching to take this cast off. I also personally hate tearing these little things along the perforated lines because they do rip apart and they do fly all over the place and it just annoys me. Results: After a week of wearing these overnight my forehead feels dryer. I let my normal moisturizer to absorb before applying these and I used oil to moisturize after removing them. I appreciate that these didn’t cause any breakouts as my skin is sensitive and acne prone. Nonetheless, my fine lines and wrinkles reappear within a few hours of removing the patches in the morning. I think that these are not so much for ironing out the fine lines/wrinkles but for reminding yourself to stop moving your forehead. I think regular tape (or surgical tape) can do the same thing for a fraction of the price and an easier application process. Comparing to Botox: I used 6 patches a day. So 144 patches would last me 24 days (I don’t particularly believe that wearing these 3 times a week would do anything…I think these should be worn daily for consistent results). Botox for 5 months in the 11s would cost a 25 year old about $100 (ask to be charged per unit of Botox not per area…it’s usually cheaper for younger folks than laying “per area”). 5 month supply of these would add up to be $125. So for a similar price you can skip the application time and the discomfort and just get Botox with similar results. I COULD STILL MOVE MY FOREHEAD WITH THE FROWNIE “CAST”. You physically cannot move most of your forehead with a Botox injection in the 11s region. Once the Botox starts to wear off, your muscles need to “remember” how to move which is the effect that these patches are trying to emulate. Disclaimer: Always talk to your medical professional about whether or not Botox is right for you. I experienced headaches and discomfort with Botox, which is why I tried these patches in the first place. There are other neurotoxins on the market that have different results and different side effects. I think this summer I will try Dysport or Jeuveau instead, but these patches are a waste of money and time in my opinion unless they work differently for older people.

Go-to for a frownie-free night
I buy it regularly. When you find the right dose of water and the time you should put it on, it shouldnt move during the night. It lasts only for that night, your wrinkkes will reappear during the day. But at least you're having 7ish hours more per day of flat forehead.

great but it smells kinda funky
These patches really are solid. don't peel off and really do not move once stuck on. ive noticed a slight difference in a short time of using them so if you are looking at using them for wrinkles then I would say definitely give these a go! however, I used these initially to see if they would reduce my tension in my forehead as I have chronic migraines and they def help with that too! only thing I dont like is the smell they have once they are wet. it can be a little overwhelming at first but you get use to it.
