Perfect tune for carnatic music!

I bought this electronic tanpura for my wife who is a singer. She loves the compact size as well as the tonal quality of the shruti box. We are customers of previous Radel products and though happy with the sound have been unhappy with the boxy wooden packaging and carpentry work around the container for all the electronics. We have also had problems with the potentiometers used for the volume control with carbon dust causing an unacceptable crackling. The Mini-Miraj seems to have solved all of these problems. The controls are sealed and touch operated - no knobs and shafts and places where dust, moisture and dirt can wreak havoc. The size of the beast has come down considerably and with the ability to operate on 6 AA batteries, the utility to be mobile is significantly enhanced. The supplied nylon case is stylish and simple with an insert to put in your "In case of loss return to" address and information. The unit operates on international voltages without the need for a converter - they also happily supply the India to US plug converter with the unit. All in all a great product that is reasonably priced and is appropriate for the intermediate to advanced vocal musician interested in using the tanpura drone to complement your voice!

Cord quality is too low and got burnt with spark

Got a damaged product. Now due to Lockdown they are unable to replace the item ...but spoke to customer service and asked for confirmation on email to replace after the lockdown is over.
