When you have the Suunto Tandem compass you want to keep it safe, considering what you spend for it. This does a great job of protecting a great instrument. If you are working with the Suunto compass, you eventually are going to drop it outside on a hard surface, so this gives some shock protection. My only wish is that they made a larger bag to go along with the cover since getting the compass/protector combination in the bag Suunto provides a real squeeze.

Im on roofs all year round and this case has definatly done it's job. The casing makes it a little more bulky helping out when wearing gloves. The rubber also prevents it from sliding about when wet as well. Of course with it on the Suunto it wont go back in the case as easily but with a little extra gumption it does. Worth the money.

Product seems well made but did not fit the inclinometer it was recommended for. As long as the inclinometer is the correct shape, this should do very well.

The protective cover is a poor fit to the dual compass clinometer. It is made from good materials I have pulled the daylights out of it. It is not a match to the item it is advertised to protect.

Perfect fit to protect my Clinometer. I personally like the feel vs the metallic feel of the "naked" Clinometer

Works will, easy to spot in the dark, protect device but Tandem will not fit in the case now. I use my Tandem for cave mapping.
