180 gram vinyl. Another unreleased live broadcast recorded at the Sheraton, Los Angeles, September 15, 1990 Review: Excellent!!! Spot On!!!! - Excellent Record!!!!! Unlike the other reviewer my copy is a nice flat 180 gram record,Nice artwork on the jacket which is not the super thin cardboard you get on some European releases,it was a FM radio broadcast and I suspect the producers might have added or pumped up the crowd noise at the start of this LP,it seems to calm down after that though and the music is never compromised, speaking of which, all of it is crystal clear,Laynes voice is in top form and Cantrell and crew are spot on!!! Crank this one up,it won't distort, the level isn't set as I've noticed some of these records seem to be,if you want a snapshot of Alice in its infancy then you can't go wrong with this record,it's also 45 rpm so be sure and switch your turntable Brian Review: Pretty good compared to the other live option - This album at least has some base and treble to it, and some light crowd noise. Pretty decent live recording, not mastered for a hit unplugged album but still I'm pleased for the price.

Excellent sound quality of amazing content.
I never write reviews but I am compelled to regarding this record. It is absolutely worth every penny. To be there when this was recorded...if you have this on your wishlist just buy it. You will not regret it. It will take you back and show you what you what this band is all about. Just get this record and hope for more like it.

Audiophile Quality
The pressing is fantastic, but the only negative is that the explicit lyrics are washed out. It makes sense that it would be edited due to it being a radio broadcast, but other than that AIC’s performance was top notch.

A 1990s bootleg recording of Alice in Chains at their very infancy. The recording was originally broadcast from the Westwood One radio network, therefore the sound quality is of an acceptable standard - if you remember this is an unofficial bootleg, your expectations should be satisfied. Concerning the music, 8 tracks are performed at this live show which are all from their first album Facelift (including fan favorites 'Man in the Box' and 'Sea of Sorrow'). As stated already, 8 tracks are featured on the album which is around 32 minutes of music - just about enough to warrant an LP price tag. Regarding the product specs, it is indeed 180 grams and yellow vinyl. The cover is fairly colourful but nothing spectacular. It;s also important to remember that this is a DOL release so there's a real no-thrills feel to it. In general, it's not a bad little item to own, as it covers a very early Alice in Chains before the band hit it big with the critically acclaimed Dirt. And at the current price (around £13) it's most certainly worth it if you're a fan.
