I was introduced to the Drunk Elephant line about a year ago. I used the Shaba Complex Eye Serum and REALLY liked the product. However, the cost is a little ridiculous at 0.5 fl oz. for $60... that is steep. I also tried the Protini Polypeptide Cream as my base moisturizer for my makeup and I wan't really impressed with the tacky feeling it left on my skin or the heavy, mask-like feeling once it dried. I really like the Drunk Elephant line so I decided to try the Lala Retro Whipped Cream Replenishing Moisturizer and I am in love. It does not have a true scent, which is appealing to me because scentless means less chemicals. I get dryness around the corners of my mouth and the outer corners of my eyes but I have noticed those areas, which have are prone to peeling, have not been peeling since I started using the Whipped formula as my moisturizer under my makeup and nighttime moisturizer. It is light, soft, and non-tacky once dried. My skin feel so soft and there is no residual tacky, mask-like feeling that I had with the Protini Polypeptide Cream. I have combination fair - medium skin, blonde hair, and hazel eyes. My forehead gets extremely oily but the skin around my eyes and mouth gets dried out and peels. That has now stopped. This product is one that I truly love and have not had an issue with at all! My acne has even subsided. I highly recommend the Lala Retro Whipped Cream Moisturizer.

Not worth the shipping lag. Super slow delivery. Save the time and just by in store! But of course love the product!!

Nice feeling moisturizer but not really anything extraordinary. The price is high and I honestly didn’t feel the luxury.

At first, I bought the Pekee soap bar; gave a less favorable review, but will edit to more positive. The LALa moisturizer is exactly what I have been looking for. I am 63, have minimal wrinkles, but realizing my skin needs “ mature” care. Yet many creams I have tried just seem to sit on top of my skin, and there is a greasy feel. This ONE is different. It is fragrance-free ( like that a lot), light, but sinks into skin quickly. Has a nice, unique applicator to dispense a small amount without contaminating inside container. The “ drunk elephant” line is expensive for me, but if I just use a little bit each time, it will last longer. More is not better. I use this with the oil and it sinks in nicely. I also spray my face with a mineral water to increase moisture. I like using the Pekee soap bar in the shower. It does not have a soap smell/feel, and it does not dry out my face. Yet I have a clean feeling; it lasts a long time.

When I first opened this product, everything looked fine as far as outward appearances went but as soon as I dispensed it, I knew something was wrong. The product that I received smells like coconut. I have been using LaLa retro whipped cream for many years and it definitely does not smell anything like coconut. Upon putting it on my face, I noted that the consistency of the product was a thinner consistency than it should have been. I had purchased a refill pod a day at a big beauty store. Tonight I decided to compare the lala cream purchased from a known, reputable source to this one and my suspicions were confirmed that they were not the same cream. I’m not sure what this is, consistency wise it seems somewhat similar to the protini moisturizer from DE, however I have also been putting that on my skin for years as well and it also does not smell like coconut. Save your money and potentially your skin and just buy it from a reputable source even if it’s a little bit more expensive. I am going to have to spend more money to send this back at this point.

Great lightweight moisturizer for every day use!

I can’t do without this cream for the winter time when my skin gets incredibly dry. It is a life saver. The moisture level is perfect without being greasy and the scent is very light which is perfect since I don’t like anything that is overpowering. I chose to order through Amazon as opposed to another site because I knew I’d get it sooner and I really needed it. Love this stuff!
