I bought 4 of these and connected them all together for my classroom. They have been in use for 1.5 school years. Perfect amount of light! It is a dull, yellow light. Very relaxing, calming, and comfortable in my classroom, but students CAN still see what they are reading/writing and I CAN still see what my students are up to in the classroom at their desks. These string lights helped SO much with my headaches/migraines too!!! The students LOVE them as well. In my opinion, these are perfectly good string lights to get the job done. Usually one set of string lights cost about $50-$60, but these were only $16, so I basically got 4 for the price of 1 compared to other sellers. I couldn't have justified $200+ on string lights. I will say I think that more expensive string lights are better quality, but if you're wanting to buy several of them at a more reasonable price, these are perfectly good! THE ONLY DOWNSIDE IS that unfortunately bulbs have burnt out in 3 of my 4 strings. In total, 5 bulbs have burnt out. Each string comes with 2 replacement bulbs, but I have already used all my replacements due to bulbs burning out in the past. So I will have to purchase replacement bulbs eventually, especially if more continue to keep burning out. If that happens, I may end up updating this review. There is no remote control for them and since I have them plugged in at school, I am not sure how energy efficient they are, so I did not give those two sections a rating.

Very pleased with these lights. They offer a soft ambiance to my living room but are still strong enough to read by. One thing I have noticed is it appears a bulb will be burned out but I just twist or untwist them until they light back up. I’m pretty impressed with how long the bulbs are lasting. They have a few extra bulbs but I haven’t had to use them yet. Great product.

These string lights are well-made and work exactly as described, but I wish they weren’t quite so bright. I’m using them in my son’s room instead of LED lights, and they’re a little more intense than I expected. The build quality is good, and I like that you can connect multiple strands for longer runs. Overall, they do the job, just a bit too bright for indoor bedroom use

I have bought multiple packs of these lights and I use them as the main source of light around my apartment. I love these, they are super easy to use and install. I use one of the smart wall plugs with these, so I can turn them on and off from my phone! Game changer for someone who HATES white light overhead lights. :)

The lights look great, but I have had them up for 10 days and three bulbs are out already. Set only comes with two spare bulbs.

The shipping takes a long time which I don’t understand, but I’m still giving these lights a five star. We put these up around our gazebo and I ran out so I had to order another set and I’m still waiting for them to come. They are nice they are bright and they’re shatterproof and I really like them. Can’t wait to get the second set to finish it off.
