Can this seat be fixed from the top of the bowl? Also how far apart are the fixing holes in the toilet seat?

The seat fixes the same ways as a normal seat, with threaded bolts and nuts and washers underneath.

On the video, it shows 2 holes on the part of the seat which also has the quick release button on it. How far apart are these holes?

The instructions are very good.The holes are the same distance apart as the pegs

The fixings are adjustable and come with optional fittings. The fixings bolts are mounted on a disk that rotates around hinge pins so will fit toilets with fixing holes both closer or further apart than the hinge pin.
