Two part epoxy in a spray can, good coverage and great adheasion
I'm refinishing 30 year old aluminum wheels. I had not seen two part epoxy in a spray can. Very nice design, coverage is very good, the adjustable spray nozzel is very nice, it appears to be a very durable product, dries pretty fast and provided consistent coverage. Adheasion to aluminum is the reason I purchased the product.

Excellent epoxy barrier primer for those who want to do a quality, lasting, durable paint job
I needed an epoxy primer to use on another aluminum stern drive on a boat between the etching primer and the color coat. The last time I did this on a different stern drive I used Alodine, this 2-part epoxy primer, topped with acrylic enamel 1-step paint. It held up well in freshwater boating, but it was apparent that I should have used a better color coat due to some staining. For this project, I used a zinc phosphate etching primer, then this 2-part epoxy primer, then an acrylic lacquer color coat, then an acrylic lacquer clear coat. Every coat was compatible with the previous coat. This stuck well to the zinc phosphate layer, and most importantly, the acrylic lacquer stuck well and had no issues being applied to this 2 part epoxy primer. For those who know paint technology, you realize that selecting the proper kind of coating to keep from having the acrylic lacquer burn through the previous coating and ruin the job is of utmost importance. This 2-part epoxy primer is more than up to the task. Just be sure to follow the directions and apply the color coat between 15 minutes and 12 hours after applying this product. While I do have professional paint application equipment, for smaller jobs like this I prefer to use a quality rattle can process. Without this product, that would not be attainable. Just be sure to understand that the nozzle is adjustable, and it will not be set the way you need it to be set right out of the box.

would NOT buy again
perhaps i got a bad can, but this sucker would only spray in spurts like a can of spray paint that was almost out of paint, yet the can was full. followed can instructions completely. had to hold can upside down many times throughout trying to clean the nozzle to get it to spray better. would recommend looking elsewhere

Ehhhhh....
Not sure I'm buying their "2k" claim, since I popped the hardener open, used it, then let it sit for a week, and was able to use it again. If it had hardener in it, you shouldn't be able to spray it past maybe 48 hours after it has been released and mixed. I've used spraymax and pro XL 2k clear before, and you may be able to get it to spray a couple days later, but it's going to be so clumpy that it's unusable, as it should be. Much further past that, and they become solid and won't spray at all. So I'm not sure about this can of 2k epoxy.

Durable and Seals Out Rain & Rust
I am so glad I made phone calls & researched on the internet how to properly deal with repairing rust & the need to use an epoxy primer when you have to sand bare metal. I had huge rust stains over 40% of my truck roof, and had previously tried to repair it with regular primer, it didn’t last the rainy winter & started rusting through the paint by summer & only spread & got worse! What a mess! I had to sand the entire center of the roof down to bare metal, feathering the huge areas edges , so that it would blend. I used this epoxy primer, the only one that comes in a spray can, thank god it does! It went on pretty smooth, and I was able to coat the whole roof with several coats & even was able to do some rusted spots on my bumper! Looks good, dried over the day & then painted it. The only problem I had was that paint cans drip, so have a shop towel to wipe the sprayer often, or it will get drops on your paint & you may be able to sand them out a little, but you’ll see that in your finished paint job 😬. It works though & just in time that I got it done before several big heavy rain storms. Still looks great & durable, thanks for making an epoxy primer in a spray can, otherwise it wouldn’t have been possible to repair myself! 🤘♥️💁♀️🎅

The best rattle can dtm primer period!
A fantastic product.. it's easy to apply, there's a good fan on the spray pattern with no hot spotting. This is primo DTM primer. Buy once cry once nothing adheres like a 2k product.
