This filament is amazing!!! Expensive, yes, but it is well worth the price tag. However, I recommend changing the speeds in the setting to all about half the default, but all the other settings in the 3MF file worked great except for the fact that it tells you to use the 0.6mm nozzle settings even if you have a 0.4mm, instead of using the wrong setting, which i found doesn’t even let the print start, use the regular setting, it worked for me anyways. The ball bounces slightly less than a regular ball, but is still great. You should also sand down some spots around the bottom after removing the supports. The supports are pretty difficult to take off and I still can’t get the last bit off. The print uses about 700 grams of filament and the roll is only 1000 grams, so you only have one shot, so make sure all the settings are correct. The print takes about 36 hours if you slow it down. Once it is done, instantly pop it off the build plate then put it back in the printer to cool. Wait about 30 mins — 1 hour then you can start taking off the supports with a razor blade, pliers, and your hands. BE VERY CAREFUL while taking off the supports so as too not damage the ball. Then use 200 grain sandpaper or higher the grind down any rough parts of the ball and where the supports used to be. Finally, go back over it with finer sandpaper to smooth it out. The ball is the exact size of an nba ball and only weighs about 20 grams more so it is perfect for a game. It looks very cool 10/10. Pros: very similar to nba ball bounces well doesn’t break looks cool Cons: hurts so catch on a pass because it plastic kind of rough hard to remove supports Overall I very much recommend this filament!!!

Works great with my Creality K1. Printed a basketball and it came out super bouncy — way better than the TPU one I made before. Feels more like the real thing.

Was hesitant to print an airless basketball because of all the feedback that there is no bounce or that the ball ends up cracking. I ordered this filament even though it's pretty expensive because I really wanted an airless 3D printed ball. After a long wait (no Prime delivery option) the filament arrived and I finally have the printed ball that I wanted. I bounces pretty well, not quite as high as a normal basketball but very well and can be used to play with. I used 3dxav's model from Makerworld. Overall, I'd say this filament does what it's supposed to do and produces an airless ball that actually bounces and does not crack on impact. Just wish shipping/delivery time was shorter. I would love to be able to order it and receive it in days not weeks.

Gave this FlexiTough filament a go on my Ender 3 V3 SE, and it worked like a charm! Took some time to read the user guide, and it totally paid off—got a perfect print on my first attempt. Used a 0.4mm nozzle, and the results were spot on. Bounces great too! Honestly, feels just like a regular basketball, just a tad heavier. Super impressed! Would definitely recommend.
