SKYOAK Evolved Magnetic Case Ultralight and Thin Folding Reading Glasses Compact Readers

This is a foldable pair of reading glasses with a small case. They fold up along two hinges, one between the lenses and one on the bows. They feel a bit thin and flimsy but they're actually pretty sturdy, being tolerant of a little bending here and there and moving back into shape. The glasses come with a 30-day return and 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects, which gave me a bit more confidence. The lenses on these are short, about 2cm high, so I can put them in front of my regular glasses and still see over them through the lenses of my regular glasses. If you wear contacts, these barely take up any of your visual frame and it's easy to pull them down a bit to see completely over the top of the lenses, which is the design I wanted. These come with a small case that holds the glasses when they're folded up. I opted to use a regular case so I didn't have to keep folding them, as folding and unfolding seems to be the thing most likely to cause a bend in the frame, though I haven't had that happen after folding and unfolding them quite a few times. There's nothing in the included literature about blocking UV, which seems like not much of a concern for reading glasses, anyway, to me. These are clear lenses, so they don't diminish light or alter the color of what you're reading. These are good reading glasses. I like the low profile, and they're very light, so you don't end up having a lot of weight on your nose, even if you're doubling up.

Compact, easily fits in any pocket and maybe in some wallets and nice quality.

Whenever I go anywhere I think "will I need to read?" Usually the answer is maybe, so I think these are going to be in my pocket quite a bit. They fold up small and then go into a little, thin, strong case. This can go into your pocket, purse, car. The case seems like it will really protect it. The downside is they are not attractive. They are very small, half reading glasses. And because they fold up, are are designed to be light weight, they don't feel very strong. But for adding a tip to a credit card after dinner, or trying to read your phone when your child texts you and you think it maybe an emergency, they are perfect. Because of their limited use (these are not the kind you are going to wear when you need to be on the computer for 2 hours), they should last quite a while. Very good product.
